Would it hurt anything if i was to remove the trigger rod on my E-Mag other than the fact that mech mode wouldent work because when iam trying to walk the trigger gassed up the rod just feels like its getting in the way.

As stated, many remove it for tourney reasons. Just leaves you with e-mode.

But you lose the fun Hybrid mode......... :(

Use it in E mode & don't try to walk it in hybrid.

may i ask why?

Because it's a longer trigger pull in Hybrid and you have the reactive kick that will mess up the rhythm. Walk it in E-mode. It's shorter of a pull and if your gun is in spec, won't have the trigger rod to worry about.

iam not talking about removeing it for hybrid mode iam talking about removeing it because it gets in my way in e-made and throws my rythem way off.

do you know what a good way to remove it would be?

That's just it. You don't NEED to remove it for E mode. If it's in spec, the trigger rod doesn't touch the trigger. (Unless your trigger has ALOT of post travel.)

To clairify what Dayspring is saying...

If your Emag trigger rod is with in spec (2.125") flip to E-mode and you're golden. If your rod interferes while you are in E-mode, than your not in spec. You should be able to measure the 2 1/8" with a decent ruler, but I'd suggest getting a decent pair of digital calipers ($20-ish off ebay or Freight Harbor Tools (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=47257))

its in spec but when its in e-mode it sticks out just enough to interfear and kick my triger and throw out my rythem. thus making me slow.

Hmm.. Then I would try to back it in more. But if you're looking to remove, I'd get a (2) pairs of pliers or robo-grips. One to hold the base where the rod screws into and the other on the rod to twist out.

If you have too much travel in your trigger, it will do that. Tighten the trigger down a bit so it doesn't have so much back travel.
