Question for anyone who has seen this.... When I picked up my emag I also received the original Emag valve assembly (has an x-valve right now) and an extra level 10 bolt (with the extra pieces). I noticed something as soon as I went to start playing with that level 10 bolt... it's missing part of the center stem! Has anyone ever seen or heard of this? If you look down at the back of a LX bolt you can see that the center stem comes from the bolt face back and necks down partway to a smaller diameter. That smaller diameter section extends out the back of the bolt and goes into the power tube and throught he carrier/o-ring inside the power tube. Well, this one is missing that entire smaller diameter section and yet it doesn't appear to have been damaged in any way. Is this piece normally pressure fitted into the larger diameter section or did this one shear off in some way. I asked the original owner and they weren't aware of any damage having been done to the bolt.. they just never could get it to work (and now it's obvious why). Was this a defective bolt in the first place? Is there any way to install a new stem (I doubt it) or will I have to buy a new bolt ($40 - ouch)? For once I would actually classify this one as a "manufacturer's defect" but figured I'd ask around first. Haven't contacted AGD about it, but seeing as I'm the second (or possibly more) owner, I don't know whether or not they would even care to do anything about it. I don't have anywhere to host pics otherwise I'd post one to help show what I'm referring to.

Send me that bolt! If it appears to be a factory defect I will warranty it for you. You still need to pick up the shipping though. Sound good?

Lvl10 is AGD's anti chop bolt system. It requires some fine tuning upon installation, but once it's done, it'll stop the bolt on a partially fed ball, instead of chopping it in half. There is actually a video of Tome Kaye (head honcho of AGD) putting his tongue in the breech, and the bolt stopped without hurting him.
