I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how to take this feedneck off I've tried twisting it but it's really on there tight.

Your best bet is to get a strap wrench and twist as hard as you can. Heating it up with a hair drier *might* help but Im not sure. I used a pair of pliers when I got mine off and I scratched it all up :(

I was told to boil it then use a strap wrench, hope this helps.

have you tried just putting your hopper in and tightening it down really tight and twisting int he oposit direction?

a nice rubber gripped vice works well.......or 2 thick pieces of rubber in a vice will work.

I Broke the freakin the strap of a brand new strap wrench trying to get mine off. Are they Loctiting them from the factory or something???? Or perhaps its just "Tommy the Torque Dork Syndrome" . Is there really a need to put them on that tight? Sorry to go on a rant here, but the feedneck is still on my brand new tac1 and it doesn't look like its coming off anytime soon. Either way any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Boiling the body might help. I think AGD attaches the feedneck with permanent loctite, and that stuff doesn't come off without heat.

I talked to an AGD tech on the phone last week when mine arrived and asked the same question to them. They are red loctited in, and their recommendation was boiling/heating it then using a wrench or strap wrench.

Vice grips, channel locks, pliers, etc. All work really well, neck comes right off, just drop it in trash when you're done.
