Beautiful. That is what is so nice about matte black, you can mak it any color you want. Blue stickies would be pefect. Eyes too. I believe DC does the mod for $35..?

You're going to hate me then... Hopefully, I will have my DC stormtrooper by Saturday :D

 to a beautiful viking!

Did someone mention Blue? :D

red is better... more aggressive and powerful by nature.

its just hes already got a blue UL and a blue HALO... it'd be easier to replace a 15 dollar set of grips.

but yeah...

red > bloo

except for powerade

Lose the drop.

Now, how many people scrolled back to the top to check for a drop? :D Nice Viking, BTW.

The trigger pull on it right now is rediculously short, but there is only one problem. The MAC noid blew out so now i dont have a gun to shoot and i dont know where to send it.

Cryer
09-22-2004, 04:31 PM
its cause you had red grips on a blue and black gun

RogueFactoryKid

No its because i stuck a cheese stick (Still In Package) Down the feedtube because i figured it wouldnt do anything and i wanted to see if it would pinch it. :nono: Needless to say the bolt jammed forward and the Solenoid got effed up. This is why teenagers cant have nice things.
And yes this is quite possibly the dumbest thing done by anybody to their viking.

Please, don't take this personal. Just some constructive criticism, you myfriend, are a moron. ;)

What part of you thought it could possibly be a good idea to put a cheesestick in a paintball gun... It isn't a mag with level 10... This deserve a thousand smacks to head section.

Alteast I know something else NOT to do with my viking...Although common sense... blah blah blah

No, it isn't the dumbest thing done to a viking. It is the dumbest thing done to a paintball gun period. Atleest it made me laugh for the last 20 mins.

I second the above. DC is an amazing bunch of people. Some of the best customer service I have ever found. I actually just got off the phone with Jared. Great guy, loves to tlak about paintball and does everything he can to make sure his customers leave more then satisfied. If you send it in, your viking will be in the hands of the best.

Sorry, had to =p... back to subject

wow man... that was preety dumb.... but at least you have places like DC to send it in to and give it therapy. you might look into therapy yourself, stop abusing your children!! ;)

I feel like you just castrated you gun.

actually if you sitting in your room board and the gun was gassed up...I may have done it to. But on my last viking the bolt would have stopped cause it was set at 55 psi :)

Not to sure how it copuld have f'ed up youre noid though unless cheese got in there which there is no way unless you stuck crums in the LPR side of the viking...

rikkter
09-23-2004, 01:39 PM
how in the world does that blow your noid?
theres no suction in the bolt in the firing operation(least i dont think there is) for the cheese to even get drawn back and into the valve area. let alone the solenoid :tard:

RogueFactoryKid
09-23-2004, 02:09 PM
All i know is i have my thor reg and i set it down to about 75 and layed it down the feed tube fired about 3 or 4 times then the bolt jammed forward and after that the solenoid stuck, the cheese stick was still in perfect package condition though :D
And im happy my 80 dollar *F* Up made some of you laugh lol, it made all my friends drop nut laughing

RogueFactoryKid
09-23-2004, 02:13 PM
About how much to replace the solenoid with a humphrey?

rikkter
09-23-2004, 02:30 PM
wait. have you even tried to fire it since it happend? a new noid shoul dbe like 50+ i assume. i have to send my viking and excal in to them (ripped wire out of excal noid and vik leaks weird when gassing up)

are you *sure* the noid is blown?

AR55 MtM
09-23-2004, 02:35 PM
The gun is nice but it isn't pretty.

RogueFactoryKid
09-23-2004, 02:36 PM
Well when i click the trigger it takes about a 1/2 second-second for the solenoid to open/close

rikkter
09-23-2004, 02:44 PM
what kind of board is it? sure you didnt get the modes switched up on accident? maybe dead battery?

RogueFactoryKid
09-23-2004, 03:01 PM
Nelson Board, Battery has been checked, now leaks out gripframe AKA Solenoid?

rikkter
09-23-2004, 03:19 PM
hmm possibly. but stop listening to me now because i dont know anything about the nelson boards :)

mine leaks out of the grip frame area when i gas it up but i have to shoot it to get it to stop when gassing up. then ti works fine.
i know that its not right so, but dont wanna send it in right now (league tourny every 4 weeks)

but good luck with your gun

AzrealDarkmoonZ
09-23-2004, 04:51 PM
Wait a second. Thor Reg? Why isn't the more than capable Sidewinder handling the job? How did you break the noid? Have you checked the noid retention screws in the tray to make sure they are tight, and maybe the gasket/orings on the noid. Or maybe the Nelson board just died, ie not that uncommon.

Az

How did the nelson Board "Die" i havent changed anything on it, the gun still shoots but the solenoid hangs open shooting air down the barrel for half a second.

Nelson boards are known to go dumb for no apparent reason...
