I just bought an airsoft gun. It's friggin sweet. I got it at airsplat.com. It's the 40 dollar USP gas gun. It's the best you'll get for 40 bucks. http://www.airsoftcore.com/ is a site I went to for info on airsoft. It was pretty helpful.

Ive boughten one from airsplat before. You spent 40 bucks for a gas one? good deal. I wonder if they make a gas one of the one I want.

Ive got a really nice Desert Eagle, KWC hard kick gas blow back with 2 clips 2k bbs the speed loader thing and pretty much empty things of green gas. Its all pretty much brand spanking new, i got the gas from a friend. Ive maybe shot 6 clips through it at most. Ill sell it for like 100 plus shipping

Whatever you do, dont buy a cheap one. They are very inaccurate and i think are pretty useless. I would get something semi-auto, but then again I only use my friends gun when i play.

Okay i have some questions. What is green gas, where do u put it, how does it work.. etc...

wad04

green gas goes in the clip, you insert it through a small hole in the bottom of the clip, at the top of the clip you have the valve i think, like a small button that releases the gas. when u insert the clip and cock it, theres a small part that hits that button, thus releasing a small part of gas to power the bb.

i think that kind of made sense.

Well it all depends, they are only fun if u ahve some friends who have them and u can run around outside wiht proper eye protection and play. But if u are jsut geting one to mess around with u will get very bored very fast. If u wanna tryt top get some freinds into it get them to go out and jsut buy lke 15 dollar spring ones adn if yall liek them then looking into getting higher priced ones.

im looking for a gas one, but with heavy recoil, so its fun to shoot. i saw a fully auto g17 that had me pissing my pants (hook it up to a 20z c02 :) )

the "boys" m16 looked pretty cool, me and my friend bought those 1/2 scale ones a while ago, and had alot of fun shooting each other

near me, in coram, cousins allows airsoft games, so maybe we could rent out the field one day for a "AO Airsoft" event

heres one video of the m93 beretta.... *drooooooooool*

this is what a game SHOULD look like

Gas ones are cool, but I would rather get a cheap spring one to mess around with and if I like it I will go from there. Are there any cheap gas ones? If not I will look into spring ones.

there are, like at airsoft atl a while agi they were doing a deal 2 gas sigs 50 for both. Wasnt really worht it casue they were pretty cheaply made and 1 out of the 3 we bought didnt work, they replaced it then the next one woudnt work and they wouldnt replace it. So if u are not looking to spend much money jsut go wiht the spring ones, and if u decided to buy a gas get a nice one.

Hmmm, no. I can get some when I get back to my apartment. Possibly in the next couple of days. But, it is a single-shot, spring-powered MP5 with a retractable, expendable stock, and detachable "supressor". Pretty wicked, has like a 23-capacity mag. Will get pics as soon as possible.

They pack quite a punch, too. My brother shot me from about 110 feet away, and it made a welt through my shirt. It will also break CD cases from about 40 feet.

They've recently found that Green Gas (the most common gas used in airsoft gas guns) is NOTHING MORE THEN PROPANE! :wow: Not only that, but they are sold in aluminum cylinders with NO safety valves whatsoever. The price is rediculous, compared to the propane from places like Canadian Tire and Home Hardware. A canadian (Search the www.airsoftcanada.com forums) guy is having adapters made so that you can buy proper propane tanks and still fill your guns' mag's up directly. I have to run so I can't look for the link, but its in there .

Heh, just thought I'd bring that to everyones attention.

And OsyterBoy that sounds like a good idea, I will have to check it out once I get a gas one(probably in a couple months)

wow it owuld be worth it to get one of those, even if i dont playt that much. The real limit to having the gas pistols was that once u ran out of gas u had to go get more from the store and it was espsnsive as poo.

My friends and I bought some spring pistols and a few of those electric mini-Uzis last winter to mess around. They're mad fun for some cheap thrills. I had a blast sneaking around my yard at night in a foot of snow trying to hunt down my friends. Just make sure you wear safety glasses if you plan to make a game out of them.

Hey, alot of my friends have been getting cheap guns and i'm going to probably get a cheap spring gun.
Well, my parents are safety freaks and I want to know if a pb mask would be fine while playing?, i've seen them being sold on airsoft sites.

I just bought a KJW USP w/ free threaded barrel and fake suppressor :)

http://www.airsoftatlanta.com/images/kjw_usp_tactical_jpg.jpg

Ran me $70, but it's a GBB, meaning it runs on gas and is semi-auto [does the slide action on its own.. buwhahahaha!] If I find one for a decent price, I'm going to mount a flashlight on the rail under the barrel.

Eventually I may get an AEG, even though I never have and more than likely won't skirmish. They're just cool. I really like the MP5 RIS models.. hm.. :)

I've got a airsoft USP

http://www.airsplat.com/Images/GP-UG-161B.jpg

Mine is the cheap one. It's a gas, but it's non blow back. I paid 40 for it. It's well worth it for that price. A bunch of my buddies and I bought em to see if we wanted to get into it. Now I really want an AEG. 70 bucks is a good deal for that gun. I've seen the same deal for 100 bucks. I really want an mp5. I had a bunch of the springer guns, including a wicked sweet mp5. They all got stolen over the summer though.

Yes you will be fine wearing a paintball mask/goggles, alot of people wear them.

Here is a picture of a MP5A4:

The one I want is 255 bucks, but comes with an upgrade kit to make it have 350fps :headbang: Buying it from Power Edge USA (http://www.poweredgeusa.com/main.asp)
