Dad just bought the 4 door z71

Picking it up on wednesday... but from looking at the booklets it looks pretty sweet

even cooler that he got an employee discound (my grandfather worked at GM for 41yrs) and 0% financing for 72 mos

So hes got 6 years to pay off the 22 or 21 :ninja:

Hes slick. :D

The Colorado is a pretty spiffy truck. It truely is a vast improvement over the S10. The Inline 5 has some "ummph", but still maintains the handling of a light truck. I'd say if you are in the market for a light truck, the Colorado is an excellent choice. But then again, so is the Ranger. :D ....and the ranger is made by ford.

well i curently own a 2000 fullsize Z-71,and its a nice truck but its not like my old K5 that i loved very much.those other trucks are way outta my price range :( the other huge thing is a v8 is nice well acually very nice however the inline 5 is only 60 horses shy of my 5.3 but it gets 6 mpg more then the v8.my plans are to grab a smaller 2 whel drice truck and snag me a beater 73 k5 down the road

Actually the runble bee is just an effects package. There is no drivetrain mods at all, its just a normal hemi ram in a nice wrapping. Also I believe the Ford Lightning still holds the title of fastest production truck at the moment.

Anyways, I've heard good things about the Colorados, and I agree they are a huge step up from the S10's (one of the worst small trucks you can buy). I'm a skeptic though so I would wait a few years before picking one up so Chevy can work out the new car bugs.

If your looking to get a small truck, look into rangers too; my 4.0L 6cyl with limited slip gets about 20mpg and can tow (according to ford) 5900 lbs, and they last forever.

Nope. The Dodge SRT-10 Truck is the fastest production pickup on the market. 500 HP V-10 Viper motor. Not bad for naturally aspirated.

I find that there is NO DIFFERENCE between all the trucks above.

I back up to them and tow them away, they all seem the same at that point.

No, the Rumble Bee and the srt-10 are 2 different packages. You may be able to get the srt-10 with the rumble bee graphices, but im not sure. I would offer it if I were dodge. Dodge.com has all the specs on both trucks.
