im looking for a good pack at arounf $30. Ive got to in mind, one is Mantis Diamond Harness - Medium-Large - Black-Black and the other is Redz Dimension 4.4 - 4 Vert + 4 Loops Harness - Black. Im leanin more towrds the mantis cuz it hold less pods but im nt sure if i will want more pods or not cuz ive never played a tourny yet but i am soon. If u have better ones in mine then post them with pics if possible.

pics the first one is the redz and the second one is the mantis:

I personally like the Redz, they fit great, and hold exactly the amount of paint i want/need. Just remember you dont have to carry a pack full of pods, just because it holds 8, doesnt mean you can't go out on the field with 2.

I love my Redz 3+3. It's so comfortable. My brother has a Mantis pack (I think that's the one pictured). It's decent, but I wouldn't take it over my Redz.

I have a Redz 3+3 as well. Great pack. For the money I think it's the best value.

I would try them with pods AND paint if possible. I have a Jacko thats merely OK but last tourney I played I borrowed a 4+3 Redz from a friend and played the entire tourney with it. Very confortable!!! I'll be getting a Redz myself very soon.

I use an Empire, a little more expensive, but to me is worth it.

redz are incredibly comfortable. They dont bounce around or sag at all. If i were you id get the 3+3, because thats still alot of pods. Unless youre out playing back in the NPPL you probably wont need 8 pods.

I have a REDZ 3+2 and it's great. Only gripe I have is it's quite difficult to put the loop pods back in after emptying them. If your a tourney player it doesn't matter cuz I expect you drop your emptys, but with rec/sceanrio I don't have that option. :)

I've heard great things about the horizontal Top Stitch (http://www.topstitch.net/hpacks.html) packs. You can snag your pods from either side easily and it fits tight to your back with a small profile. They are VERY durable and will be my next investment if my REDZ ever wears out

NXe. One of the few REAL one size fits all packs.
