Depends on the grip. Mine does, but my buddies with a Hinge does not.

They all (WGP) 'should' have a safety except the swing models w/ the cam adjuster.

As far as i know.

My Chipley SV that I got has a 86degree swing and it dosen't have a saftey. I'm old school and wish it did...but it dosen't. There slider frame dosen't have one either which I find odd.

None of mine do, I dont like safeties anyway... Ive seen many kids shoot thier barrel socks and plug and say "i thought the safety was on"

A barrel sock and common sense (or some good gun safety knowledge) are the better. I can SEE a barrel sock. I cant see thesaety of some kids tippmann 8 feet away. Meanwhile i yell at the kids... It seems this safety stuff isnt being thought correctly to the newer players.

Generally I dont buy markers or even real guns that come with saftys, I tend to find that it leads to way to many other problems. I tend to prefer a standard safety, but you know to each their own.

When I had a slider cocker, it had no safety. The safeties in sliders rub against the trigger plate. Many people remove them for this reason.

correct. its the proper way to completely finish off a trigger job on a slider. if you look in the little hole where the safety is youll actually see the trigger pass through there.

in a hinge its not necessary to remove the safety but on the sliders it is.

I have a hinge, and a safety to boot.

What do you guys think of the cam adjuster? Does it make much of a difference?

(waving right index finger in the air) This is my safety.

Neither of my Autocockers have a mechanical safety. After losing the spring and ball from my 1995 Autococker, I removed the now worthless safety and never looked back.

The cam adjuster is a waste of $10. There is a setscrew in the WGP hinge frame that does the exact same job (limit sear travel, which limits trigger travel) and has a better adjustment resolution.

The cam gives something like 6 preset adjustments, with the shortest and longest being absolutely worthless.

Out of the three Cocker grip frames I've had, stock '95 carbon fiber, Benchmark slider, Eclipse Hinge, none have had a safety on them.

I've never had the need for one, either. As Destructo, said, my finger is my safety.

The Cam adjuster has 7 preset adjustments, btw. I'll agree that it is practically worthless.

only one of my markers has a safety, ive just been too lazy to take it out. i personally dont like safetys because ive seen way too many accidents happen when people thought that their safety was on. instead i just make sure my barrel condom is on, and keep a finger behind the trigger to keep it from firing.
