How do you get the damn macro line fitting off the max flow, strength is just not doing it? I dont know what to do, and i dont want to break nothin

From my experience, those have had RED loc-tite on them... you'll probably need to heat that up. I haven't had luck w/ a typical hairdryer & wouldn't want to put it in boiling water.

I ended up getting a 1200W painter's heat gun at Home Depot for $24.99

just out of curiosity, why not boiling water, and the heat gun wont damage anything

Well, if you gut it (o-rings, valves, etc...) boiling water might work - I just never had any luck.

I got the heat gun cause I was trying to take a reg off a bottle - green penetrating loc-tite sucks. :mad:

It's all aluminum, it will get hot so get some oven mits or something. Just remember to take the guts out or you'll get a nice surprise inside.

Download this: http://www.smartparts.com/Manuals/MaxFlo.pdf It should be fairly similar whether its a horz or vert maxflow. I have no idea on how the newer 03 shocker maxflows work.
