I had a red one for a while but never had any problems with it spinning in the sun. I've heard of it happening but have never experienced it.

This problem has been rectified with the new X-board. All REvolution hoppers should now be shipping with them. If you have an old one just buy the xboard and it will be fine.

If you have an older rev it might be affected by the sunlight, the newer one's are corrected, and there are other boards out there that take up the delay.

You can pick up a new X-Board at drop zone paintball,

http://dropzonepaintball.com/html/revolution.html

(note: there picture has it in a hopper, hopper is not included, just board)

From experience, the new X-Board is sweet, it has no delay and runs at 15 volts instead of the old 12 volts.

If you have an old hopper or even a new hopper that is spinning in sunlight, there is an easy fix.

#1: Take the hopper apart. Removeing all internals.
#2: Take some paint close to the color of the hopper and paint the neck of the hopper on the inside of the hopper.
#3: Reassemble the hopper when the paint is dry.

Buy the tubroRev board. Very nice. I have not actually played a game with it yet (just got it) but I can say it's pretty nice. But it does cost a little more.
