View Full Version : Had to file fraud on a AO member

Yeah, I hated to do it. But I had to file internet fraud with the FBI and two Police departments on a member of AO.

We were going to trade, sent me pictures address and all that. I sent out my item and trusted he would also, he explained that he had no money as of the moment but would get his dad to mail the item.

Two weeks later...Nothing. No explanation, no responses to E-mails...NOTHING.

Hated to do this, but you have to do what you have to do.

Why didn't you get his phone number and call his parents? Or tell us on AO and maybe we could of helped you out. www.reversewhitepages.com put in his address, get his number, call his parents.

give the cannucks some credit, have you ever seen anybody take a hockey puck to the neck? Immediate incapacitation!!!

We should'nt underestimate the offensive firepower of our northern friends as long as they have a ready supply of pucks, the sticks to launch them, and a belly full of maple syrup to get they're blood up :argh:

I was a goalie , Got slober knockerd more than once. Had so many concusions that the "Doc" told my ma that I'd be lucky to have any normal motor funtion. :tard: Taking a puck in the chops leaves a lasting impression...... Its funny he ran into my brother last year ( Docs gotta be 100 years old) & was suprized that I was still alive. Said that he was going to have to pay off a $100 bet cause I made it past 25.

You can also file a complaint with the Federal Post office if you used them for shipping. I got boned on ebay once a few years back & they hunted the gal down & she went to jail for defaulting on over $1500 worth of auctions. I have loved USPS ever sence. Hey there was a post earlier in here ( after mine) that looks like it got taken out.... Whats up with that? No harm or foul...

That sucks man. I would contact every police department in the area like 5 times and make sure you tell them how much money he screwed you out of.

Oh, and the secret ninja ( :ninja: ) monkey attack unit has been sent out to meet alpha, delta, and cannuck to help ensue the carnage. Oh and Won Hunglo.

And what is this black list?

If you go to the feedback section there is a section about bad buyers, sellers, and/or traders.

Maple syrup's alright, but you really need to watch out when they're on a caffeine and sugar high from a stop at Tim Horton's ...

This person you call an AO member is barely if that....

He joined in August of this year. Has a grand total of 37 posts. Was last on Oct 5th

He used this email to join here.... Another Hotmail account. And appareatly has changed that and did not confirm the change and remains in a limbo status. "user awaiting email confirmation". So until he does that he cannot post here.

Here is what he was trying to use.

[email protected]

You should not imply this person had any AO credibility or reputation that would make you feel he would be safe to do business with.

MiniSpdRcr
10-11-2004, 05:17 PM
Well yeah, but he did some business with people here and they said they had a good experience with him..so I decided to do busniess with him.

cphilip
10-11-2004, 06:21 PM
And who would they be that recomended him to you? I am curious to know who these members area so I can look at thier accounts too..... Did you see him in Feedback Forum? Are these people he did bussiness with reputable themselves?

MiniSpdRcr
10-11-2004, 06:25 PM
Let me PM you with it. I do not want to start anything on here.

cphilip
10-11-2004, 06:40 PM
Ok I am looking at that name now. I do not see anything connecting them. But I do see they both use Hotmail accounts but thats not really anything much.

But one recommendation is all you had and it was a private convo? Thats all? Seems a bit low to me. I mean anyone can find one person to vouch for them.... even if its innocently wrong. One minor trade does not really give much credibility...

If I find anything to help you I will send it on. Good luck to you. And be carefull from now on.

I am careful, I have over 90 sells and buys on E-bay and quite a few on here. I had all his information before hand. Even his picture with a confirmed address I checked with PMI. So it all seemed to be alright.

That was mine Krusty. I made a joke towards you but then realized that I confused you with my buddy, also named Krusty (I think he uses KrustyPCP here.) I deleted it because it didn't pertain to the topic and I didn't want to joke on someone that I didn't know. Sorry about that.
