Just got done putting two cases through it at an X-Ball practice. I shot 4 pods and a hopper almost every game.
Everything is new.

I got some paint on it from the bunkers I think I got hit in the barrel once. It was an X-Ball practice at TPA in Alliance Ohio, lots of good players and skills out there today. Some major ballin.

It amazes me how you people afford to shoot 2 cases in one day of play... Two cases would last me 4 days of play. Anyways, nice looking gat you got there. What team do you play for?

Agreed.
A week or so at Velocity, a guy let me shoot his alias. After playing all day with my 03 Was'd Vik, I could, for the life of me-not walk his trigger. I dont know iof he had it set up all weird, but I hated that marker.

IMHO
A timmy is a timmy is a timmy is a timmy.

I'm damned glad you're enjoying yours though.

"A timmy is a timmy is a timmy is a timmy"

Couldn't you say that about most guns?

Mags?

Cockers(if they are ebladed)?

Trixes?

Angels(aced)?

Sure, some might shoot different because they are tuned better and setup better, same thing with timmys.

Rockin' gun dude. I would buy an alias but I just don't like the new clamshells, I prefer the older longer ones.

Exactly you can say that about most markers! They change a little bit cosmetically and they cost 400 dollars more. Look at the freestyle! Regular freestyle 700-800... ND freestyle over 1k... There is really nothing different besides the name and look. I dont think the better "tuning" or better "setup" should force the price to be higher and the marker to be more popular. The differences in performance at most are negligible.

I cant believe people are willing to pay the prices they are for some of these markers. I for one will never buy a marker that costs more than 7-800 ever again, The first marker I bought that cost an arm and a leg was an adrenalized angel, single trigger led, thunderstruck anno... and that still cost less at the time then some of these markers are going for. I would take that angel anyday.

How many people shoot a stock cocker? mag? Angel? trix?
Ok, that you've thought about jujst how many people shoot custom markers, how many people take a timmy, and change the sucker around? A lot less.

Did you read my post? I remember typing.....'In my honest opinion...'

Did I bash his marker? Naw. Did I bash Timmys? Naw. Other than saying I didn't like how the trigger felt, I wasn't negative at all. I Remember saying I hated how someone setup the trigger on THEIR marker though, not his.

But I guess you're right... a mag is a mag is a mag is a mag.
Go to the Mag Pictures thread here on AO, and tell me how many stock mags you see.
Go to a Cocker pics thread, tell me how many stock ones you see.
Wow.....I replaced the eye covers on my timmy!!!!oneoneoneone
Same goes for DM4's. Nice markers, same thing over and over again, though.

Oh ya, I forgot I'm not allowed to disagree with other people on this forum! Thanks for reminding me

Last time I checked I never said you bashed his marker, never said you bashed timmys, I never said ANYTHING negative to you. To quote you, "Wow.....I replaced the eye covers on my timmy!!!!oneoneoneone" Wow....I replaced the body on my mag!!!!oneoneoneone, Wow I got those fancy chrome pnuematics for my cocker even though stock ones work great!!!oneoneoneone Ya, those karta, dallara, ule bodies REALLY help mags preform better  You claim once again dm4's are the same thing over and over again, slap an xvalve, ult, and intelli on any mag and it won't shoot better then any other mag.

Now go shoot your mag that is different then EVERY other mag and claim ALL timmys are the same and ALL mags are different.

Oh sorry, you have a viking, because you know those 1300 dollar custom milled vikings shoot soooo much better then stock ones?

Oh ya, in my honest opinion. Guess you can't say anything bad about my post now?

You prove his point though, Tony. And you didn't even touch his comment on how many different mags, cockers, vikings, etc are. He didn't drop a word on operation, or efficiancy. And yes, nearly all Dm4's are the same, save for....chip....and...feedneck...and bolt maybe? He never said anything bad about your post, and i think that you need to take a few breaths, and back away from the keyboard.....watch out for his arguing; that comment about 'liberals being more reliable' is a killer.

Thanks Automaggot68 for the PM.

As for buying the gun, I know it works the same way a 2K2 does, and they are much cheaper. I just bought this simply cause I liked the look and I haven't bought a new gun in 3 years. I have a Warped Sportz Dark 2K2 flame milled LCD Angel that I have been shooting for three years. Put a lot of paint through that thing. It doesn't have any eyes, so when I get ripping on it, paint will chop sometimes. I figured it was time for a new gun with eyes, and I particularly liked the timmy after shooting several. That and I didn't pay $1495 for the gun either, got a nice deal on the whole setup. I also have a custom milled, powder coated, and built mech cocker from a raw aluminum body, its a nice gun. My next project is to build a dollara mag with level 10 and the hair trigger whenever it decides to come out.

As for shooting two cases for a day of play I got the paint for a nice price, I was planing on shooting three cases, but I am playing again this weekend so I figured I would save the money.

My trigger is set up pretty nice. I can rip on it with ease. I was hitting 16+ with both hands very easily. I checked it for bounce several times since the gun is new and I am breaking it in, but I had no problems with it. Then again triggers are all user preference as are guns. I like most guns, in particular Timmys, Angels, Cockers, Mags, Matrixes, Vikings, Shockers. They are all good guns, each with there own little characteristics.

Thank you Sac/Drew

Just showing my new gun, please try not to make it into a debate on what you think is better or what kind of money you would or wouldn't spend on a gun.

for the price jared got on this stuff i woulda bought one too. and the 2 cases was shot at a practice so its preety heavy competition, alot of paint being thrown both directions, i played mostly snake and front and still shot a case and a bag so there ya have it.

Regarding the ORIGINAL POST:

Hey Jared (I think that is your name). Nice marker - Timmies are pretty cool, especially with some of the newer features of the ALIAS-Generation ones. In fact, I'm building my own "Spimmy" as we speak! Anyways, I hope you like it.

The only thing I don't like about A-Bomb Timmies is the milling/scheme. It seems pretty insensitive to make a milling scheme based on the bombs which killed many, many innocent lives. I'm not trying to start a political conversation - just poking a thought around. Sort of like the "Pearl Harbor" Timmy or the "9/11 Timmy." They'd be very insensitive.

But overall - enjoy that marker! Don't worry about the people who "hate" on your marker. No matter where you go, someone is going to find something about you or your gear to bust on. Most of the time these people cannot afford to buy the same stuff, but probably would if they could.

two cases would last me like a year, unless i was using my rainmaker. nice timmy though, i ecspecially like the milling on this one compared to others. on another note, if you can afford to buy that gun and shoot 2 cases a day and have fun doing it, whos stoping you. you guys need to lighten up.

I soooooo badly want one of those dude! Sweet timmy. I know you said you got shot on the barrel, but I was wondering if you broke any paint in that thing?

And what in the name of King Tuck Tuck was that argument about? Neither of you even own this gun yet you find an argument..... I hope you can save face now and blame it on being teenagers.

Well since we are off topic again.

Duhhh.........I LIKE TATER TOTS!

Replying to bolter. I chopped a few balls out of the two cases when I had the thing on Delayed mode, put it on Forced and shot just as fast with no chops the rest of the day. I got hit on my hand a few times too (going for a bunker, we were about 5 feet apart), thats why there is paint on the grips, I will post a pic of that later tonight after I get access to my friends (Sac) digital camera. Going over to his place tonight.

dun agree with this one oldsoldier, for the simple fact that i could buy probably about 10 just for craps and giggles this very second... and no i don't depend on mommy/daddy for the money.

you couldnt convince me to purchase one of these markers, i've seen how often they have stuff go wrong, i like a dependable product... when you earn the money yourself you tend to take this stuff more seriously than the kids that have mommy and daddy buy their marker for them... so in that aspect yea, i hate on the majority of people that own one of these markers cause alot of them are children that didnt earn one red cent that went into the purchase...and i can afford these markers, yet dont buy them, so i must have flawed logic if i don't have one since i can afford it.

NOW for those that actually did earn their own cash for one, if you are happy with the marker, all the power to ya, i have no hate for ya if you are satisfied with your downtime opposed to playtime. Cause while you are off the field fixing things, i am on the field having a blast without you.
