On saturday, I'm going to be playing paintball, and I've decided to bring my digital camera along to take pictures. I came up with the idea of "running up and bunkering" someone with the camera. I.E. Run up and snap a photo, and then try and run back to safety. lol. Do you guys think I should do this? I think it'll make for some awesome shots!

I think youd be destroyed by the time you got back to your bunker... Yes sweet shots but would the pain be worth it?

play a hole game with a camera instead of a marker  mad shots and that bunker would be sick

you can do it!!! can you adjust your shutter speed so it's really really fast? That should take out some of the blurriness, I think.

wouldn't it be the same if you just asked someone to stay behind a bunker as if they are actually playing the game?
you could still act like you're bunkering them

but if it's for the adrenalin and fun, which i'm sure it is, GO FOR IT

you have my vote
go for it

I'm doin it to see how many people i can bunker if i had a marker. I'd try to do runthroughs, but i cant becuz the camera is slow =[. Its a digital camera so i cant adjust shutter speed.

umm, i wouldent only because I would be worried about the camera getting shot, and last time I checked, thats not good for it. Do it though, its not my camera!

Yeah...270fps ball hitting the lens is prolly a no no...

Plus, you'd be running

Running + Taking a pic= Blurry

Use a disposable camera.

The lens is very small on the camera like 1/4 " plus its slightly covered on the side by the lense cover, so any hits directly to the lense and the paint will slip to the side. Disposable camera isnt that bad of an idea either. Plus i wont run past the person, id be gettin the the other side of their bunker, then popping above/to the side of them.

i can tell you right now... there going to be blurry unless the camara is absolutly still when you take the pic... unless you have insane shutter speeds

heh been there done that. i had a 3.2 megapixil camera, but i had it on video mode.

it was a team vs team practice night, but we were pretty good friends.

i took the camera, ran to a few bunkers, and "bunkered" a guy by diving into him and shouting..
it was a little blurry but not bad

1 word....

hiliarious
expecially if u video tape it
