Yea, I've seen those pics of croud control cops with pro/carbs shooting pepperballs into the croud. They also use those little 13cu hpa tanks. I love the police. And count me in with the mail fraud thing, I'd like to see what would happen at open night wth those! Nah that'd be mean, but funny...

adam i havent heard from you since you were in jersey, what happened?

now if you read the disclaimer it says you have to live in a state where its not illegal to purchase these. so just check your state and see if it is.

also it says they are launched at 380 fps. you think that a regular pb gun can accelerate these balls to that fps without becoming a gas hog?

Sure it can... get yourself a Brass Eagle Stingray II. I used to have one that chrono-ed in the 400's -- then 150, 220, 350, 100, 275, etc...

To complete the hijack of your thread, do you still have DVDs of last years AOSE day for sale? I never did get one and I'd really like one. :headbang:

This has been covered before but to provide a little more insight.

Pepperball technologies does make these. THey are a hard shelled plastic projectile. One reason if not THE reason they cost so much is that Pepperball will cover litigation and settlement costs relating to the use of their product. Hence the cost is absorbed into the price of the items. The other reason is that they are selling these to LE/gov't so they can charge more.

They also have an A5 e trigger prototype that just came out. Well, they call it a prototype, I call it an A5

actually, agd makes these, its their sister company. they also make the fn303 the less lethal launcher

AGD does make a less lethal gun but it is not the guns carried by Pepperball.

If you are going to use these, make sure your marker doesn't chop paint.

That is somewhat of a concern but not as much as the shells are a hard plastic and not your typical gelatin shell.
