Please don't kill me! I know you've probably seen this a thousand times but I need advice. I Just bought a Purple RTpro with a ULE trigger, but the gun didn't come with a barrel. What kind of barrels would you guys recomend? Any suggestions, please help! :tard:

It all depends on how much money you are looking to spend. A quality barrel in my opinion that won't break your wallet is the dye ultralight.

or the dye xcel, i've had good luck with those.

the CP 1 peice barrels are good, i had one on my mag and it shot awsome.

I'll chip in a second for the CP One Piece and toss in a vote for a Warped Sportz Dark Serries One Piece if you have a slightly healthier budget. J&J Ceramic is usualy a good option too if cash is tight.

I'll put in a third for the CP 1-piece. I have two 10" of those in .685 and .689. there is no paint I cant shoot. They shoot really nice too.

how much do used and brand new ultralites go for?

Brand new go for about 80, used go for 40 or so depending on the condition.

I found a two piece J&J going for about $60. Think I might get that. How much does a UL go for?

The two piece J&J shot beautifully, and the guy gave me a better deal than I was expecting, so I went with it. Thanks for all your help though. Feel free to use this thread to just BS about barrel systems. :p

I have a Scepter and love it but I have always loved the J&J ceramics as well. The J&J is a great barrel for nearly nothing.

evil pipe kit - good variety of bore sizes - will fit ANY paint, .683, .686, .689, .692, .695 and one tip (comes in 10-16" lengths, or 18" separately)

you can find a used one on for the forums for REAL cheap not (just over $100) simply because alot of people dont like them just because they're a bit louder than other barrels - but the performance is that of any other PMI/Evil product - pure sex

Ultralites, J&J barrels, and Powerlyte barrels are all my favorites. CP is very good, too.

I use an old dye aluminum one piece and that's been perfect for me.

I also HIGHLY recomend CP 1 piece, JnJ ceramics and Xcell's

Lapco... The bigshot will shoot the most kinds of paint (.689). They're loud, but they're gas efficient and well made. I love mine.

They also have the autospirit (.867) and the microshot which is something like .864

You can get them used for around $30 on ebay/pbnation or around $50 new.

I believe you can even get custom sizes made if you contact them.

CP - Single shaft barrels $40 ish at most places.

Kits- Mac Dev Match stick kit $140 for 4 backs and 3 tips.

Those are my choices for low budget barrel goodness.
