Their real ROF is less than 25bps when you actually get down to it. (Has to do with how long it takes the gun to cycle, how long it takes between pulling the trigger and something actually happening "lock time," etc.)

Don't worry about, they are faster than you can shoot or need to shoot.

supposedly thats what the noid is supposed to do, thats what the 25 bps comes from. A new 2k2 will come with frenzy, which is un capped. With frenzy or WAS, theres no real number to say how fast you can shoot. SOB was pretty fast, but the logic wasnt quite as good. Basically, it all depends on how fast your fingers are, and how legal you gun is.

Timmies are really fast. People say WAS boards are faster than Frenzy boards but I can fire my alias with Frenzy 116 way faster than I could fire my old timmy with WAS. Timmies are what every gun should be. Fast and easy to set up the right settings with. The WAS or frenzy boards are supposedly faster than the timmy or any human can fire. The reason I say faster than the timmy can fire is because pneumatically, the gun starves after X bps due to the pneumatics, but it will still fire plenty fast without shootdown. I think what Dayspring said about lock time is accurate due to its operating method.

Do you know if a GZ can fire just as fast with the right board?
GZs are really cheap in my area.
thanks

They are the same internally, they have different milling and the .45 grip though. The Z's are really just GZ's with Clamshells, which I like.

GZ + Frenzy + techna = murder.

Anything in the following categories will shoot the same as anything else in the category. Changing a board will give it the electronic capabilities of another platform but the air channels & what not will not be the same.

The only standalone gun is the Empire, as it uses some 2k2 parts and some 2k4 parts.

2k2 Platform-
2k2
Dragon
Lasoya
Z (GZ)
Storm
ECX
Species
Ironman
Ripper 1

2k4 Platform-
Alias
Naughty Dogs
Russian Legion
Ripper 2

Hybrid-
Empire
