I just bought an Automag, and I need to upgrade from co2 to HPA. I was wondering, how many shots ( Approximately ) Does these Size tanks Give...
72 / 3000
68 / 4500
68 / 3000
48 / 3000 ...

Thank you for any input. -Jay

x-valve? it differs on the setup quite a bit so tis hard to tell.i would suggest a 4500 atleast 68 or bigger but thats just me you might be able to get away with liek a45/45 but most people prefer soemthing bigger

also make sure the tank is ATLEAST 700 psi out ifnot more

68/45

I might be selling mine so I can get a diffrent tank. PM me and we can talk about it. I have only owned it for about 6 months. I just want a shorter tank.

PM me and I'll work out a deal if you'd like.

this equation works for mags
for 3000psi CI X 10=shots per fill
for 4500psi CI X15= shots per fill

i would have to disagree... id probably say for 3000psi CI X 6. thats how it was for mine anyways.

Did you have your level 10 tuned correctly? Where you shooting paint or just air?
All of the mags I've seen followed this rule generally.

edit: Was it a full fill too? or almost full?

Actually, for me that equation is a little low. I get about 1200+ from my 68/4500

my level 10 was tuned correctly, but now that you mention it, i never do get full fills. maybe 2700 rather than the 3000 limit. thats probably the cause. my mistake ;)

i think your right that equation does not work. if you got an x-valve it will not run your tank dry. you will have about 700-800 psi left in your tank. that will give you a higher number of shots then you will really get. i had a 88/3k with all uped mag x-valve ect and i got about 650-700 shots out of a full 3k fil.
