I've seen pics of it around here somewhere. If I remember correctly, it's a bunch of parts strapted to a big piece of plywood. You can see the valve design in it's early form.

yeah, Tom found the first mag in one of his archaeology expeditions... it was found in the hands of an early neanderthal. Tom lubed it, gassed it up and it worked fine :D

i wonder, honestly, how much it would sell for, being the very first mag and all. Especially if it still works.

hAppy
10-24-2004, 05:13 PM
It's worth as much as someone would pay for it. And I wonder how much that would be especially considering it's the oldest of the oldest.

Let's get some pics up!

DiSoRdeR
10-24-2004, 06:53 PM

That was rather uncalled for, I mean it's not that big of a deal, everyone's had their share of typos.

Like it's been said time and time again, "if you have nothing good to say, than don't say anything at all". Or something like that.

OK Tom. You are the head cheese at the company. You don't have to make up lame excuses to get out of work. Just tell the number 2 guy to handle it when you need a day off.

The first Mag is going to look like a classic with a standard feed body and back bottle adapter attached to the rail.

Very nice piece of history! Really!

WOW, looking at that thing brings back some memories. I remember seeing an Automag for the first time. I was running around with my VM-68 (Not very far with that thing) at the old Liberty Paintball in upstate NY. I also remember the sheer terror watching the guy rip with it. I dont know what I hated more, its rate of fire, or the fact that you could easily adjust the velocity with an allen key, and now have to rip the whole thing apart, cut springs, or change valves.

It was WAY ahead of its time.

You were really way to ahead of your time. Thank you for giving so much to the sport of paintball. God Bless you.
