Ok, so I got my Evolve Beta V2 on Sunday (Thanks Mark And Peegee  ) - slapped the sucker in there and headed out to the Chrono Station with the Team's paint ;)

Running Standard Hyper2 in-line, 68ci Centreflag 450output presets, shooting Blaze @ a constant 285 +/- 4fps over a handheld Chrono. Also using standard bore ultralight as I can't be arsed with Paint to barrel match :P

I was able to lower my LPR to 3.5 turns with Evolve grease and dwell down to 12 before I experienced any loss of consistency :ninja:

Peegee, you made a pact with Satan or something?I shot 14 pots! In cold, raining, horrible weather! that's like a case of paint!!!111!!!oneoneone:D

And it's PINK!

I'm selling my 68's and buying 45's as of payday, who the hell needs 68's anymore:D

Pinki - a Very Happy Bunny Indeed!

Where the heck is all this need for all this air. I shoot a 68 4500 centerflag and I am not able to carry more paint than air. I play back. 6 Pods and hopper is the most I have ever shot in 7 man and I had plenty of air left. Who carries 14 pods?

Some backmen could carry up to 14. Or 12+hopper.

Or for people who just want to be able to use a smaller tank and still be able to shoot a bunch.

How many people do you know carry 14 pods. Really in reality 90% of tourney ballers shoot 4 pods and a hopper.

yes, most do shoot no where near 14 pods. However, its a pain to fill every single game. And, with a more efficient gun, you can use a smaller tank. Also, some people do shoot that many pods. Its very very possible, and shooting upwards of 12 pods is pretty tipical playing 7 man.

I can understand the desire not to fill between games but if you ran a 45 4500 and shot 6 pods and you had to play again you would need to fill anyway. Not too argue but this whole hardon over air efficiency seems silly. I get over 1000 balls on a 4000 PSI fill and even when we play 7 man I only shoot 5 pods maybe 6 so I am well below. I am not going to throw some aftermarket bolt in just to get some crazy shot count then having to adjust dwell, lpr etc, Stick with factory and have no problems. Just my .02 cents

Madmolly - I think you're overlooking a very valid point, higher shot count = smaller bottle and therefore lighter set-up :D

Hell, I never shoot more than 2-3 pots a game, this bolt kit just means I can use the new 0.5L (smaller than a 45ci! ;) ) bottle when it gets released :D

And I'm sure all the back guys out there would love to be able to run a 68ci or even 45ci instead of the 88's they're lugging about these days.

Pinki

P.s It took me 5 minutes to adjust my settings correctly, and I'm not even remotely Tech-minded (Hell, my captain insists on me lubing my bolt under his close supervision :p )

7 amn is really just a big 5 man game, you shouldnt need as much paint.

I play 10 man and at the NEO event I was shooting 13 pods a game, ran out of air 3 times and ran out of paint once. I carry 13 on field shooting an 88 puts me right on the edge of running out.

if I could get 13+ pods on a 45 I shoudl would try it :) That 88's a pig to lug around :D Hell after NEO I was thinking about trying to find a 114 4500 nothing worse than running outta air with 2 minutes left in the game.

Yeah I understand to get lighter. I mean I spent time actually weighing out the different tanks to see which adjustable weighs the least. I just don't like putting in upgrades that are not from factory. My whole theory if it isn't broke don't fix it. As for ROBAGD that is 10 man(rare) and how many times did you have to wipe of the moisture from your barrel.
