View Full Version : Does the AM/MM rail prevent the RT sweet spot?

I know, I know it's not tournament legal but I want to try anyway. I've got an RT Pro valve LX with I frame, AM/MM rail and an Armageddon reg. Valve is well lubed and all seems well. I run the reg up to 900 RT strong, 1000 stronger. Up I went to 1200+ all the while the RT effect gets stronger but it doesn't seem like it wants to bounce.

Only thing different from standard RT is the rail. I went to Z-man's site and everything seems to be correct.

Help appreciated.

By the way the AGD folks seemed pretty bored at World Cup today. They are just as curious about the hAIR coming out from PTP as everyone else.

You just gotta get the right on/off pin, and it will have same results.

Make sure you're using the .750 pin for the am/mm rail.

As the other guys have said. It's all about the on/off pin.

I had a Retro Mag with a auto/mini mag rail that had great reactivity with an 850psi input.

My Classic RT has some slow rapid fire at around ~800 PSI. This is with an Intelliframe and 45/45 X-Stream all the way up (it's supposed to go to 900 psi but I guess mine's NOT broken in yet).

You could also try to loosen the field strip screw. Don't overtighten it.

Measured .750 on digital caliper. Will try to loosen screw.
