Does anyone know how many good shots to a tank a 2k4 BKO/B2k4 can get off a 68/3k high output tank?

Traxer.. to many variables...

Right now on a 68 45 adjustable.. With theses specs... 420 out of tank , 210 into gun LPR at about 55 psi Im swinging 1100 shots at 275 fps

As for a 68 3k.. hmmmm... If the gun is set up right and chances are if its a bushy owner reading APG it isnt It could probally do about 700 if its a LP tank not an HP tank..

I get about 900 shots off 68/3000, when I go to the field I get the tank refilled when I get to 1000 psi left. Thats at 285fps and the HPR at 190.

hp and lp have nothing to do with effiency...

OK, thanks guys. I just needed a ballpark figure to the closest 100.

GTSRI.. actually Ive messed around with that a bit and this is what I got

Perfect example.. my bushy at 420 psi out of the tank Im pulling apox 1100... with an 850 out put ( IE preset ) I was only pulling 950

come on man, use the same size tank.

you must be the only guy in the world. setup and imperical test, same paint, same gun, same day, same everthing. Get the same fill for both bottles and shoot them down to the last drop.

better yet, explain to me why a lp tank is more eff.

With some tweaking of the regs and all parts stock, 900 shouldn't be outside the realm of possibilities. I've found 70-75 ish on the LPR to provide the best efficiency.

Of course an aftermarket valve and higher flowing regs can only improve this number, typically bumping it a little over 1000.

the baby goes waaaaaaaaaaaaa
its only a 2cci difference

hes not the only guy in the world

every person i know sets there adjustable HP system 200 psi higher than the guns operating pressure

With older B2Ks this was very improtant cause the regs were made for adjustable tanks not presets
resulting in either major spiking or horrible efficiency

not days regs can handle a variety of higher pressures and still have good efficiency
but when you give the reg less pressure difference to handle it will always be more efficient

hey i get 1400 off of stock parts

you still havnt explained why.... The reason you set your reg 200psi higher is to make sure you dont get shoot down.

yeah DUH

but not 300 psi over the HPR or 600 like presets

200 ok enough to the HPR
but if your way over that the HPR works too hard and then wasts air

i dont know the whole forumla of it
it ends up being more efficienct

your so hard headed

I just want to know if its right. How come vikings and cyborgs are just as efficient with a preset as they are with an adjustible?

I get about 35 shots per 12 gram on my Bushy.

Wait, we aren't talking about real Bushmasters, are we?
