ok so heres my setup:
<a href=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v285/bladedballa77/MVC-191S.jpg><img src=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v285/bladedballa77/MVC-191S.jpg width="600" height="450"></img></a>

Specs:
Black Ule Body w/ A+ clamping feedneck
Dye Boomstick
X-Valve w/ Lvl 10
AGD Inteliframe w/ trigger stops By Mad_Medic (Ron)
Cp Rail w/ KAPP on/off
68/45 ACI Bulldog 2 high output.
Black Halo B

So my question is should I get a ult kit for it or not? And is it true that if i get ult i will loose the reactivity but if i get ult ill be shooting faster anway.

i shoot faster with the stock on/off i cant speak for others but i had a ult for a bit and iw as getting roughly half the bps i was normally(maybe it wasnt setup right w/e) i like the reactivity of the stock assembly and wil probly keep it til theres a pneu trigger or better elercto option out there.

Mabey my x has something wrong with it, because I can get hella reativity from it w/ult. :shooting: If I put 5 shims in I can't breath on the trigger without 3 balls comeing out. I usually only use 4 shims, this gives me little reactivity and the ability to walk the trigger. I can't say I've ever seen any body else do that with a mech gun. :headbang: The Ult really rocks on a classic valve, Magaman can cycle his trigger with any randon weed he puts out of the ground.

umm where do the shims go?

I think the ULT is definately worth it! It will make your trigger much lighter and you can modify it by adding additional shims (little silver rings). I've have four shims on the ULT on my Tac1 and it is sweet! I had to turn the input pressure up a little on my Centerflag Dynaflow to get more reactivity. :shooting:

With your fixed output tank, you can't turn it up, but 800psi should be where you want to be anyway.

The ULT is a replacement on/off kit and the shims go between the ult on/off top and the on/off bottom. They make the on/off pin longer/shorter by adding and removing the shims.

For more info on the ULT check out Havoc's site!!
Havoc's Info on ULT (paragraph 5) (http://www.havoc-online.com/11668.html)

Hope this helps!! :D

I didn't even read the post and I voted no. IMO, the ULT is the stupidest thing ever for mags. If you want an electro feel, BUY AN ELECTRO! And losing the reactivity makes an RT just like any other gun! The whole reason to get an RT is for the Reactive Trigger!

I don't really like my ULT... I was short stroking like mad and not getting enough reactivity (NO i will not buy an adjustable tank). However, when I get some air and figure out if my gun is broken or not i'll try putting some a shim or two in.

If I'm not satisfied I'll just buy the stock on/off.

Try adjusting the shims, you have to fine tune it to the way you like it.

It's on the bottom of the valve. Check out the website I mentioned earlier.

I have ULT and it is awesome. I can almost walk the trigger at a decent rate; like almost 12 pbs.

I tried the ult for a good long time, I like the regular on/off better.

I've tried the ULT with up to 8 shims (I still need two of them for my LX) and I really just can't get used to it. I like how light of a touch it is but once I start ripping on it I shortstroke like mad. I guess now that I've got my q-loader I'll see if the chuf***e was short stroking or misfeeds - all I know was I can regularly outshoot my empire reloader with the normal on/off and with the ULT.

To sum it up, I prefer the normal on/off, but use what feels best for *you*.

I used the ULT for a while. I took it out though, i was more comfortable and faster with just the x-valve. So i personally wouldnt use it but eh I guess its something you should probably try for yourself.

Try adding one at a time until you get to the level where it's comfortable for you.;)
