I just bought an Automag with a Retro-Valve... the problem is that it dont work.

I can fire once, then I have to wait a second or two before I can shoot again... what's wrong???

Tighten the velocity adjuster screw one full turn and see if it shoots better. Otherwise, make sure the sear is able to pivot freely and that the valve is oiled.

I have tried to change the velocity, and it doesn't help

It works fine with the standard valve

What is your Air system? MicroLine?

Do you have a any other regs on your gun besides the tank one?

I have microline, and no other regs...

One thing I'd like to mention: If I gas up the gun, and then removes the air again, and opens the valve, the o-ring that goes into the backsection is sitting in the metal cup that sits between the two parts, is it supposed to do this?

The problem is that it takes the valve almost 1 sec to charge... :(

I ran into a similar problem with my RT/Pro (similar valve) In my case it was the elbow I was using. The fitting extended into the elbow too far and blocked off the airflow. A quick trip to the vise and a little work with a hacksaw cured the problem. Might be worth a look depending on your setup.
