Im certain the new Star Wars will be highly craptacular. But I might be wrong, and it could turn out to be phenomenally asstastic.

I would assume so. He looks evil enough to be a Jedi killer.

That was a great trailer... I can't wait 'till May! It looks very dark. That's good.

If the link here is broken, AOL has it as well as Hyperspace (which is a pay site).

If it got posted to /. the poor schuck's computer is in a corner crying right now...

The link I put should be fine (the todaysgamer.com one). Its my dedicated webserver and its actually hosted in a kickass San Antonio hosting facility. Chances are unlikely it'll die, but if it does eh cool StarWars used my 2 terabytes of bandwidth.

Ok, after watching the preview my money is Mace windu gets killed by that weird lookin guy with the hood and the red light saber. In the preview you see him fighting in what looks like it could be the jedi council chambers against a man with a red lightsaber, its either doku or the weird guy. Soooo should be a good movie.

I know who kills Mace. I accidently read it on a thread someone REALLY should've marked "BIG SPOILER HERE" on another forum.

It sounds like a pretty cool scene too. Cant wait for the movie.
If ya wanna know the "word" on what happens w/ Mace and his death hit me up w/ a PM so I dont have to upset people in this thread...lol

Good trailer... But then again Episode II had a good trailer too, and we all know how that turned out...

Digitard, was it on this thread?

http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=152375

Steelrat had a nice "spoiler" on it about 3/4's the way down... hard to tell if its just speculation, but it seems like it COULD work like that...

It looks good, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. After all the previous 2 trailers looked good and well, didn't quite deliver. I'm still gonna see it though.

Im sure its a bunch of cool eyecandy, just like 1 and 2, but will suck overall. Lucas just doesnt have it anymore.

...There is some wisdom, among the fervently blind dorkery, here at AO...

It will suck, because George Lucas directed it, just like the last two. It will be an extremely shiny, high dollar peice of cinema with absolutley NO heart or real substance. It would be forgotten in a year, just like the last two would, if it were not connected to a legacy of former cinematic greatness with a name and characters. I'll never understand why many fans cant evaluate these newer films on their own merits, wich are very, very few, instead of blindly following them cause they have the same name in the title as the original trilogy you loved as a kid.

Lucas just SUCKS as a director, he's probably just to in love with his self to turn the reigns over to somone else like he wisely did in "The Empire Strikes Back", and "Return Of The Jedi".

Lucas didnt direct episode 2, but he may have directed episode one, which I think was the better of the two.

Yes, he did direct Episode 2: Attack Of The Clones...maybe you mean Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back? That one and EP6 he didn't direct.

Episode one was horrible, episode 2 improved some and was mediocre so hopefully this will follow the trend and be even better. I really hope they give up the whole gearing it towards 3 year old thing, that really kills teh movie.
