Dug out the files and went to work, I had just planned on taking off the rear sight, after that is when things got a little nutty. I ended up taking doun the sight rail and exposing the hammer rod (then I painted it gold) gave it a cool little ramping look. then I painted the body red to black fade the paint isn't perfect if you're really looking but looks good from farther away than 2 or 3 feet.

P.S. May be willing to trade for a bone stock mag

Thats awesome, now that I think about it, I have a tippmann body and pieces somewhere in my room, maybe I should bring it back to life.

thats some nice work with the rail...i never really like the stock rail...it does its purpose i guess...but it looks plain...like the rest of the body...but what you did made it look very stylish...the fade is nice...but you said you painted something gold? i cant see it.

Thought about it, each tippmann I own I go a little more into. maybe for the next one who knows. Where I was using a file instead a dremel (where's the fun in that) it was rather time consuming, I think I put like 10 hours into just the top.

I hope you used a dremel....

I hope you used a dremel....

I was using a file instead a dremel

The only part I used a dremel on was cutting the main fins off the rear sight and wound up bending the cutting wheel chuck all to hell (when the say it is for a certain RPM range they mean it) I like the precise cuts I get using the file, dremel seem cheap and sloppy to me.

Definately one of the nicest looking Tippmanns I have ever seen...and one of the nicest paint/ano jobs I have seen on any marker. :wow:
