Sure, I just found my receipt from when I bought my first mag. It was almost $900 for a mag, AA barrel, 20oz tank and remote hose. So if it's an older mag, I can see each of those parts adding up to $2500.

Wow, perfect setup for a tourney? I'd love to be rocking that in an X-ball tournament.

Hey! It comes with 2 tanks! Cut the kid some slack. This is (has been) his baby for a long time. There is an *** for every seat so maybe he will get lucky. I wonder if this guy reads these forums? If so, I bet he thinks a couple of you are real knuckleheads! :D

Yeah but an ivestment of this kind is going to drop in value, especially with use. So a 2.5K investment is going to drop. This guy is doing some wishful thinking if he expects someone with PB experience to actually buy that. And look at his description:

This is a custom built Automag. Perfect for the novice or advanced player! It has a smart parts all american barrel, quick disconnect hoses, 12 volt view loader revolution, advanced internals, bench mark double trigger frame(trigger has been filed and polished for faster firing), 3000psi flat line nitro system. It is extremely fast and reliable. Package also includes 3000 psi nitro duck co2 tank with dip tube and drop forward, new jt gear bag, renegade pads and jersey, redz pack with belt (6 pod, 120 round pods), 1pr of scott goggles, 1pr of jt goggles with fan, 200 round view loader, squeegee, automag parts kit, goggle cleaner and tool kit. This package is great for weekenders or tournament players. Over $2500.00 invested, everything included is in new or like new condition. Email me with questions before bidding, all sales are final. Thanks for looking!

Anyone else wanna yell B******t.

My friend who still plays ball on a pretty regular basis, is convinced that he could easily get $800 for his heavily used grey imp with just a tapeworm and vision and blade trigger. This gun is not even in good shape, I mean it works great, but is just worn from playing. And yes I can see how that guy would think that his price is reasonable ONLY if he has been out of the paintball loop for a while. My first mag purchased in 96 had a power feed, vert adapter and crown point barrel and that cost almost $700 then!!! If you've been out of the loop for a while like this guy probably has, you would probably think that the best guns are still mags and cockers and that $700 is pretty reasonable. This guy selling that mag probably played a while back, got pretty serious about the sport, then probably after a few years had less and less time to play until he had no time at all and lost interest. That gun probably sat in a closet for years and now the owner just wants to make some money off of it. If the guy is still in the paintball loop and thinks he will get what he is asking, he is just retarded.

The guy probally bought it back when AGD had a good warrenty program, pre-star. You paid a lot for the gear but it was fixed for free.

Yeah, my friend is still convinced that he can sell his upped sidefeed cocker for $800. Only cause it probably costed him around that much back in the day when he baught it and actually played.

flatlines originally came in 3k tanks. to buy a flatline and mag back in the day and by that i mean a few years ago 2000, cost 700. mags with powerfeeds no barrel or hoses cost 300.
the guy probably put all the hype parts into it like ans bolt 8 hole charger etc etc etc. your getting another tank thats a nitro duck tank. a jt backpack two pairs of goggles a pack and a revvy. should it be going over 700 no. should it cost more than the 250 you guys are prepared to pay. hell yeah.

Amazing how things change. I wish I could get every dollar back I ever put into a marker. Never have... never will. I got a cocker that was top of the line custom a few years back. Had over 700 into it. Doubt I could get $300 for it now a days.

A lot of people don't realize that paintball guns lose thier value quickly now a days. My friend has a tipman A-5 with Flatline Barrel. He wants to sell it for $400 :spit_take . I keep tryin to tell him no one will pay that much for it. He doesn't beleive me or is having selective hearing cuz he keeps tellin me to find a buyer for him.

The only guns that have been around for a bit but don't depreciate that much are timmies. I have seen 02s go for $700-$800 recently. Timmies just seem to hold pretty good value no matter how many new models come out. DM4s are kind of the same way but the first model of it is still the only one so time will tell if older model DM4s hold value.

That price can almost be justifed as it comes with 600 full albums preloaded on it. I've never had over 2500 mp3's and I didnt even listen to 1/10th of the 2500 I had, so 9000 is pretty impressive. I imagine you could just think of almost any song and call it right up, pretty cool if you ask me. I should email him and see what the song list looks like.

I can't believe Ebay hasnt taken that one down though, that's a huge copyright infringement.
