Well Abarnhar asked for a pic and I figured I would just post it.Here it is with a barrel cover I made and a small scope.I have a rouge neck coming and it will be pretty much done.Thinking about a streamlight for it,I don't know.Oh well.

If anyone wants to try to make thier own shroud, here is the part # for the echo housing. You can get it from any echo equipment dealer.Cost is about $4.00.# is 130311-00761.It is for a PB400-E back pack blower.

That's actually really cool... I like the color... Although I never understood why people liked the bulky battery pack on a mech Mag...

For a milsim/scenario gun, I totally understand the battery pack, since it looks alot like an ammo magazine.

Great job, BTW, it looks nice.

How did you make that barrel shroud, it looks awesome. How do you keep it on the barrel. Wanna make one for me?

The barrel shroud is actually the inner sleeve from an Echo backpack blower air filter housing and part of a sprinkler head.It is almost finished.Yes the battery housing is kinda like a magazine and not really bulky. When it is totally finished,I am getting it anno'ed OD green instead of this baked on finish that's on it now. Thanks again,Richie

I think you're onto something here. I've talked to people who are into the mil-sim markers and they've said the Tac-One doesn't quite do it for them (I personally love mine). This look may do the trick for some. I'd send an email, if I were you, and pictures to someone at AGD and make the suggestion that they come up with a few cosmetic accessories. I think this would actually put a dent in the Tippmann mil-sim market.

Nice looking marker.

i know im going to get flammed for this.....but anyway.

i really like the Tac-One just because its all you would want in a nice mech mag for less of the price. Seriously..its got Xvalve, an awesome body frame, intelliframe, ect... BTW Nice gun!

I agree with Cilio - that's one nice looking Tac-One. Defintiely more of a mil-sim feel to it (and you're not affecting the ability to use the mounts). I'd definitely be up for something similar when I get my Tac & will forward the picture on to my team leader, who's also looking at upgrading to a Mag.

ME likey lots :headbang: :headbang:  I don't usually like the milsim arkers but this has a sci-fi futurisitc look to it that is pretty cool. Nice job and the shroud is what makes the feel of the marker for me.

WOW! Very nice! I like the homebrew barrel shroud! Sure beats paying through the nose for one off of Ops Gear.

The barrel shroud cost me about an hour of time and no $$$(it's not done yet).I do have a 16" stiffi barrel hiding in there.I like the way it looks because it doesn't make the barrel look so long.As for the loader,I have a clear revy I dyed OD green. It works great,no plans to change. This gun started as a minimag and this is how it ended up.I am working on a sling and butt stock for it also.I am trying to make an HK MP5 look stock. We will see how that comes out.I try to make most of my stuff,I just don't like buying the same thing everyone else has.I like to be different. :D Thanks for the compliments.

Think if you could setup a warpfeed where the battery pack is, you know sideways so it looks like a drum mag. That would be sweet.

w00t! I finally found the pic... and it is freaking AWESOME!

You've done a heck of a job with the marker. I might try to make a shroud similar to that when I have a little time. Again, very nice!

I am making a H&K style stock that will bolt onto the left side of the gun using the holes where the sight rail and the front grip mounted.I plan on incorporating a flashlight/laser into the stock mount. It's hard to explain but I have it in my head. The asa will be made into the stock so I can run a remote,if it works out right.

thats an awesome looking mag. You should hook that thing up with a Q loader. Small light and deadly.

will that battery pack fit on my RT Pro rail? i think thats what rail i have (whatever comes with the ULE custom kits). I am looking at making my brother a Thompson mag for christmas, going to put a wood stock on the back and a wood foregrip, but that battery pack would be perfect too

You would have to make an adapter like I did to fit your particular application.
