Hey miscue,

what is the differance between a minimag valve and a classic:confused:

Nothing other than the name laser engraved on the side and the amount of stars.

Minimag was 4 star, unless they have changed it.

it's a good price, I'd ask if it's available in hopper left and right or just one of them, in which case make sure it's the one you want. also I'd double check the number of stars and what the laser engraving on the valve says. it's not that big a deal but I mean the minimag body is cool, (and discontinued I think) and all the valves are the same other then the stars and engraving. the thing to keep in mind with the stars is that every one is potentially worth $45 to you in the future.

Minimags are discontinued? Ahhhhh! I've got a discontinued paintball marker! I feel the sadness coming on.

Dude, it may be discontinued, but it is certainly not obsolete. You have an excellent gun there, it can easily be one of the best guns out there if you put your time into it.

Minimag valves are functionally the same as any L7 AIR valve. If you compare a classic valve and Minimag valve, given they are the same condition and level, then the mini valve is worth about $40 more because of those extra stars. Everything on that gun is totally compatable with any Automag upgrade (for a classic style mag), including the cool retro valve. Lots of people prefer the minimag body over everything else, including the RT or E-mag body.

You have just got yourself an excellent gun. Show it you your buddies with Sypders and Piranhas and watch them drool. When you fire off 15 rounds in 5 seconds, watch them shake at how quite and smooth your mag is.

You made an excellent choice. Congrats on your new gun.

IMO, i think the minimag looks better than the rest of the line (automags, RTs, micros)

something bout it looks really nice. they should bring it back if it's discontinued.
