Hey, as some of you know, i bought a 2004 viking for my dad. Now for the next step: Milling. Thats where you guys come in. I need some pictures of the different types of viking milling. Featherlights, immortals, etc. I need some pictures that i can show my dad so that he can choose the milling he would like. Thanks for your help everyone.

I don't really like the FSP milling by the reg, but I guess it would take off a butt-load of weight...

What does FSP stand for?

A shame Vikings are pretty much a dead product, the DC versions are getting better and better, almost enough to get me to get an E-gun... :wow:

The local shop around here is action pursuit paintball, they are the guys who make the Highlander viking...

go to www.actionpursuitpaintball.com , they have local forums, or it would probably be faster to just call them... I'm pretty sure Anthony said that he can get vikings milled to highlander status... but it will be pricey...

Heck, as of the end of September he still had 5 unanno'ed highlander bodies left... not sure if they still do now...

Ditto, I <3 none swirled featherlites. The swirl ones look a little too busy for me.

Sac, don't forget about the PBX, Bonebrake, Streamline and the ripper. Then there is the latest and what I have pondered making... the half mill cut down to JmJ/FSP specs. I would say go and spend some time in the PBN aka forums (It's hands down the most civilized PB forums in the worlds...). Check out some of the custom works going on. People are mixing it up with some JmJ and FSP milling thrown in with a mini crusader back. I have wondered what an Immortal back section with a JmJ/DC-FSP milling combo would look like.

What did he say when he saw his new ****, magman ?

From my understanding the man that does most of the milling on vikings is here..John from JMJ. Bring your viking by for a tuneup or maybe get some suggestions from him? I'm not exactly sure where the booth is but I know there is a AKA/JMJ booth with some master techs on site.  :bounce: :hail:

Umm.. the second one isn't a PBX.

I got it off PBN in the AKA forum. The guy said it was PBX, but it looks more like a featherlight to me..Either way its still perrrty

How much does it cost to get one of those fancy type millings? and do they do them to Excals?

MicroMiniMe

Milling types (http://darkviking.com/info/)

Excal can be milled just as a Viking. They just have minor adjustments for leaving the bolt tube intact.
If you have type III anodizing you almost have to have JMJ mill it for you before reanodizing over the fresh milling and old ano.
Depending on what you want done milling is $300 +/-$100 depending on what you want done. That does not include reanodizing either. And do not expect any fast turnaround. Two months would be typical most likely..

Any and all featherlight milling by JmJ is $265 w/o annodization.

Here's mine. '04 Immortal. Gun is actually a gun metal gray rather than the silver that it looks like due to the flash.

This is my gun pictured on my floor. Someone must be scamming with my sales pic (posted on PBN and AO) and I know it is an AKA 04 Featherlight since I bought it and it is sitting upstairs...

Flyingasian, let me know who posted this in their sales thread on PBN so I can call them out, thanks. Don't want an innocent person scammed...

Sorry for the off-topic remarks. Just find this curious.

I had a guy take my pics off of pbreview.com and use them on ebay claiming the gun was his. He listed it as a '04 viking, not an Immortal. He also cut/paste a review from the same site that was made for a '02 viking.

This stuff happens. Nice gun by the way ;)

Thanks for the compliments. Saw the ebay listing and was tempted to bid... ;) Also saw it due to a scammer warning posted on the AKA forum in PBN.
