Just to let you know, a Duck will run you anywhere from $1000 to (there was one on ebay) $3000. They are very rare and if you find one for sale, good luck getting to it before someone else.

I know that one, that's Ralph Torell's (or Torrell, something like that). Very nice duck, shoots great and the pump is smooth as buttah! It's like buttah! Great now I'm feeling vaclempt....... talk amongst yourselves!

Okay I'm fine. But the grip frame is a flip-changer. Push the pin and the door drops down. Quite fast, but also dangerous. Wrong hands can make it a 12-gram launcher!

That Duck isn't a regular one. He was chummy with Earon, gave him $2500, and asked nicely for one. Carter then made it. So that's actually not one of the 'original' 25 (or however many it was, 20 or 25, something along there).

Okay.....somebody better give us all a history of the "Duck" paintball gun. I've been around paintball since the early 90's (actually....a little before that but wasn't playing until then). It's a Carter Custom??? Let's have the history, man!!!!

Dave Lou made them out of Carters shop in Inglewood CA. Back when Carter was working on his own.

They were each hand made, basicly to the specs of the user. Most of them went to the Kamakazi Shooters though.

I have one that is framed on the wall, they are that rare. Most of them somehow ended up in HI.

I know that TK has the parts for one and has at least one.

About 5 years ago I almost got a second one, but the owner changed his mind about selling it.

Wouldnt mind getting an other some sometime.

Meph you forgot the Ralph begging and pleading with Carter and the part of him selling his original duck to get it...

I still want my damn ajax grips back from that ....... Those be mine!

Having shot said blue duck.. Im not impressed. Honestly I can think of alot of better things to drop 2500 on. But then again Im just a jaded old (? okay relativly young ) paintballer

Actually I have three. One is a silver stock version, the second is an uncirculated black one and the third is the rarest-of-all slam change.

Mine is one of the rare ones too. It is a what they called a baby. Shorter in length. Mine also is a slam change. Yes they are hard to get used to.

Meph you forgot the Ralph begging and pleading with Carter and the part of him selling his original duck to get it...

Not 'forgot' actually never knew. I have a gut feeling that this part was left out of the story from Ralph for various reasons.

Either way I still really liked it. Not $2500 worth hell no. But definately an extremely smooth and comfortable setup for my hands. Plus I just really like the Desert Eagle style of look where it's not just the bolt but the entire body shifts! Love that look.

I'd love to own one but I'm not paying any outrageous price that they're going for. Not until I win the lottery which ain't happening since I don't play the lottery. I prefer Casinos.

That looks like the gun from Robocop. You know the one that comes out of his thigh.

Man I miss robocop movies.
