I’m in the process of building my first Pump Mag, and I thought it would be fun to see various setups and centralize them in a thread for everyone to view. Also if you feel so inclined please help me by following the link below.

Anyway please post up any pics of Pump Mags you have.

I just have a quick question about pump mags. When a pump kit is installed on a mag, does the gun become closed bolt? How exactly does it work? And, are there different parts in ternally with a pump kit on a mag? I am sorry if these questions sound dumb, but the whole conversion to a pump mag confuses me on how it actually works.

The wave spring behind the bolt causes bolt stick and the rod pushes the bolt back so the sear catches it again.

Check out the blow-up diagrams

Brad at Painball Maxx in TX will custom build pump mags from nothing. He does great work and is able to mill anything for anything. They have a web site: http://www.paintballmaxx.com/main/

cougar20th
11-17-2004, 05:18 PM
got the body from agd about 1 1/2 years ago maybe alittle longer. from when they where doing the attic sale. supposedly one of 40 or so they had.

heres a pic of the body mounted on my friends mag when i first got it and was waiting for the purple parts to arrive.

This is the reason I love mags so much. There is so much custom work you can do and the thing works like a charm, looks great, and shoots great. Shoot, think I got as tear in my eye. ;) . But they are still the best ever.

Anyone in Wisconsin, or Northern Illinois do milling on mainbodies to enlarge the sear slot to accomodate the pump rod?

This is all the old AGD stuff I could get to fit into one gun. I have a 6-Pak for it, but it's still sealed in the box, so I will not be opening it for the pic.

These are just rough pics, I'll take better when I feel more up to it.

All he has to do is swap the wave spring for a rubber bumper and it's back to semi

"Whaddya talkin about?? It's a pump!" [pumps handle, shoots.] "I just pump really fast!"

I traded this one for a phantom;
That gun now resides in my house with the vert feed body (the power feed is on my Mag) and different grip panels. The pump action has been smoothed out to effortless. He either runs a 12g changer or a 4 oz.
