I would buy it, and eat it, thus gaining the powers of god.

and I could also say...(highlight, as it may be offensive to some/most)

I ate out the virgin mary!

This is so stupid. I am not a religous person but I do know that Christianity beleives gambling to be a sin. If he is so religous that he beleives the virgin mary is inhabiting his grilled cheese sandwich, how can he believe she is giving him good luck at the casino. :tard:

Hes obviously not going to get the money, these bids are just because this has appeared on various websites.

Not all Christian subdivisions (I don't know what to call them) believe gambling is a sin. Methodists do, but not everybody. In fact, at the Methodist church I used to go to a quilt was put up as a prize for a raffle, and one of the more radical Methodists in the church said that it was against Methodist beliefs so they stopped the raffle. That's right, they said that a raffle (for a charity) was gambling.

Christianity doesnt say anywere that gambling is a sin...it does say to be a "good steward of your money". which is really how you look at it...gambling can be a fun harmless thing as long as you don't get addicted...

You may be thinking of catholics(there are other denominations that belive as catholics do though) with all their man made laws...and catholics arnt allways christians...

And according to the bible...the vigin mary wasnt a virgin for long after jesus

A jewelry designer...my guess is she created the mold and put the face there herself. As to how she preserved it this long...who knows. The funny thing is that some people will trust anyone.

Just becuase I am Catholic I would like to say that all Christians aren't always christians.

*Edit

I think that this is stupid, I think that if the person really is holy and really thinks this is real than they should donate it to a place where everyone can see it instead of make money off of it and keep it locked up in someone's house. I also claim dibs on building a Grilled Cheese Sandwich shack if they do put it up for public display. All the pilgrims can get a taste of real holiness and some tomato soup for only $10.

hehe...sorry i was alittle too specific...but yes you are right...but from what ive heard in catholic churchs is that you have to be a good person to go to heaven...and thats totally not what it says in the bible...but yes there are people who say they are christians but arnt...also with any denomination.

EDIT: good idea with the tomato, and grilled cheese shack :)

uuuuhhhh.... I dont know. But My brother in law is very religous and is a Christian and he says it clearly states in the Bible that Gambling is a sin because the money is not earned or deserved. But thats second hand knowledge so I'm not goin to argue about it. I just think its silly that a Virgin Mary inhabited sandwhich would want this particular guy to win money at the local casino. Just seems rediculous to me.

ya...usually christians don't gamble...but as long as you arnt getting addicted...but its not a bad thing to not gamble...but ya...its pretty silly that she said she won all that because of that stupid sandwich...
