"Big News: Free Storage increase to 250MB
FREE 250MB of storage capacity is coming to your MSN Hotmail e-mail account. We are increasing your online storage to 250MB—that’s over 100 times the storage you have now.

That’s not all we are also increasing your attachment size from 1MB to 10MB! This means that you can send and receive more messages without worrying about available storage space. You’ll be able to see party photos, hear new songs and watch video clips that your friends e-mail to you.

You may already have your increased storage—look for this upgrade to your account, between now and the end of November."

Still not as good as gmail but......

Yeah, I just got it today to, but I read in one of their newsletters about half a year ago that it would be happening (I think I got the first newsletter around the time Yahoo expanded their email account storage)
I've been waiting for this to happen :) 2 mb has been a bit too small for me lately.

Too bad hotmail probably has the worst spam problem of any place that provides email. I still have my account i've had there since 2001 that I still keep around since i'm registered to ebay and some other sites with it. When I check it every day there is at least 12 junk mails in the inbox and a bunch more in the junk mail folder.

Hrm.. I havent had a piece of junk mail in the.. gosh I cant remember how long I've had this email adress.
I think the secret is to register with a @msn.com name instead of a @hotmail.com.. but that's just my theory. Either that or the companies realized that my penis doesnt need enlarging :wow:
But seriously the only stuff I get is from places I've signed up for (musicians friend, ebay, thats about it)

Edit: I'd like to add that I dont use the junk filter either. I've never liked junk filters. It always catches the emails that I WANT. :p

just checked out gmail and you dont have to just forward your messages now. You can set it up to be POP. and there is no charge and they said they dont have plans to charge in the future either.

i just create a new folder in outlook that way all the differnet emails are in there own folder.

now if yahoo got off there crazy butts and didnt try to charge you $20 a year to do the same thing.
