Studiously avoiding Bridget Jones 2.

Upside of having a girlfriend: Boobies.

Downside: Never making a decision again. ;)

Love ya' honey! :D

Took my little sister to see it a week ago or so. We both loved it. It was pretty funny for both of us. I really like the way that pixar makes things funny for both adults and kids. I wish them nothing but sucess as they break away from Disney.I plan to fully support them (but only cause I think Disney and Wal-Mart are the anti christ :D )

ANd the topper was that I saw the trailer for Star Wars Episode III!!!! Sweetness!!!

I just saw it and boy, I loved it. I agree, Pixar always finds ways to make childrens movies that are funny to adults too. There were a bunch of little things in it that were funny due to context.

Bob accidently calling Incrediboy "Brody" :D

The scene where Dash is running thru the forest chased by those things is completely from Star Wars(ROTJ and TPM). :::::takes off nerd glasses:::::

The scene in the Jewelry store is like one from Die hard 3...which Samuel L. Jackson is in.

Oh man, I loved it.

Btw, I thought that if Violet was say...19, she'd be a severe hottie.

Is it really ok, friends say it was not up to the hype that was put before it.

What hype? I remember like 3 commercials for it and that was it.

Frozone is the best...

I didn't catch the goons playing drinking games until the second time I saw it...

The animation teams at Pixar are fricking AMAZING, The Incredibles has some of the best CG I have ever seen, especially all the scenes on or in water.

There is more than just the one dig at other movies in the film......two Star Wars movies, James Bond Moonraker are just some that I saw and the guy in charge of the superheros protection scheme I think is a dig at Ed Sullivan or even Richard Nixon...it can't be a coincidence that the character looks and acts the way they do...I am sure there are many more but it would take a few more views and I will wait until it gets to dvd/video before you get to see all of them.

I don't care if she was a cartoon....she was gonna be a hottie. Other than the fact she could go invisible, she had all the traits I want in a girl.

Now only if she could stretch like her Foxy mom.

i though there where to many young kids watching it. But it was pretty funny when a little kid behind me yelled out RUN DASH! when he slipped in the jungle.'

Over all i give it a thumbs up

Steve Jobs is Pixar's CEO.

Now whether you agree or disagree with him(LIBERAL!!!!), one has to admit that he, and his "reality-distortion bubble," and especially those who work closely with the man have brought Apple away from a very bad direction.

I think that he, and everyone else at Pixar will be able to manage without Disney. .

/end useless tidbit of information

They really are great at what they do. Anyhow I'd love to try and get my hands on some of their 3d modeling software. It's not Maya, or 3ds Max people....

Can't wait to see this movie. Finding Nemo's picture quality will be hard to pass...

it was kind of a kids movie since there was some thing in it that only adults and teens could understand and also lots of explosions

Yeah. There were drinking games and *** slapping and Samuel L. Jackson yelling at his wife.

actually, you wolud probably NOT want to get ahold of it. It is, of course, their stand alone program. You would need an entire staff of people eduacted in each phase of the process (modeling-texturing-lighting-rigging-animating-rendering) as well as those special scripters for the "neat" shots. Their render engine is nice, but you can make max or maya look just as good if you play with it.

On a side note, do you do any 3d work?

Python14
11-28-2004, 06:26 PM
Joe; Do you have much experience with 3DS-Max?

I generally find if a chick is discussing who she will screw with you it puts you on that list and you have a damn good chance :p
