I quit playing cause it was impossible to have fun, always some stupid admin upset I kick their butts, at Cs then at the word game they play afterwards. Oh and then there was that christian place where they call cs a ministry and treat everyone that wasn't in the clan like an idiot. The game was cool the ppl wheren't kinda like AO

thats why you ether join a clan and just scrim all the time. or you can pug. pubs are stupid and thats why i dont play in pubs alot, just scrim

Me and Echo just played, this map was INSANE, a small box and everyone gets a shotty and nades. CRAZY fun. (And from my score, at least 2/3 were HS's ;))

lol the scout rawked so bad, I got called a cheater so many times cause of that gun. Thing is I would get so mad at awpers that all I could was make a fool outta em and HS them with a scout. Oh yeah, steam was part of the reason I quit. When I didn't find time to play I usually spent it downloading something...oh well... I kinda wanna play again.

No, its really easy. Basicly you pop the old one out and the new one in, then boot up the computer and windows XP will recognise it and either install the windows drivers or install the drivers from the cd that came with the card. It doesnt take very long and it is pretty easy.

yeah but mostly you wanna get the drivers from the company, they're always better. you may have to uninstall the windows drivers though, but for Counter-Strike. it doesn't really matter, you could buy a Geforce4 for like $40 and it'll run it at its maximum quality just fine. i'm talking 60fps.

I run a GeForce at 60, but there are MUCCCCCHHHH better fps rates for CS... i mean like ownage.... dont purposely get a cheaper one cuz u tihnk there the same.. there not :clap:

It will probably be just as easy. Just pop the card in and the cd in and install it. It isnt hard at all.

There's a pretty good skill set on GameHavoc. Its definitely above the skill level of a normal pub.

We have a bunch of Cal-I and Cal-D players who pop on sometimes, not to mention piles of Cal-O.

(I think I got the letters right anyway).

So if someone is shooting everyones face off and no one is kicking him, theres a good chance they aren't hacking, they are just that good.

Cal-D was the only one I was sure of :) Maybe the league is gone but it was the highest level of Cal.

There were team captains who drafted teams from a group of selected players.

Did they change the name or something?

they did a couple seasons of cal-draft 4 seasons ago i believe. it's been a while though.

yes, it would just be cal-i players choosing other cal-i players in a draft.

a few seasons ago they introduced cal-p, which is now above m and under i.

so it goes (for clarification), cal-open, cal-intermediate, cal-main, cal-premier, cal-invite.

best I've ever done. This streak ended at 10 kills, then I only got 2 more kills untill my death rose to about 13 before quiting.

here is one when we were messing around in a private server. the gravity is normal and its cal confing ( yea i know its not a cal map but we did it so we know all the settings were normal)

edit: o yea this is on cs_militia in ct spawn behind the tank.

you have to go on ct and get the hostages to go back to spawn with you. you then hit the rescue botton again so they dont follow you. you push them into the rescue area behind the tank. push them up agenst the wall in the corner and they will start to fly. if we didnt have the T on one of there heads they would all go to the to of the map. and make sure you dont rescue then. thats how you do it.

I just back into playing CS after almost a year without it. I am slowly starting to get my Cal-I skill back. But 1.6 is so bad, bullets dont register, its horrible.

Slippy, defintly get Source.. The Hit boxes are amazing.... I love it, dont be broguht down by people saiyng you vid card isnt good enough (if u think it isnt) i run a 64 meg Geforce and its fine.... Play ya later ;)

I may get it. Just got done playing 1.6, 24-2. Both deaths were because my team dosent know how to throw a flash bang. :mad:
