I'm pretty new to Rt and Rt Pro's and I was just wondering what the difference between the two are and if one is better than the other (besides just preference.) Thanks

RT.- comes with a slightly longer body and the air passes through the body and a gas through grip. The valve can not be used on any other mag.

Pro.- The gun is a more cut down version with the air running out of the side of the valve like most mags. It also has a shorter more milled down body and now comes with the intelliframe stock.

I tend to lean toward the pro because it's cleaner looking IMO and the parts are more interchangable with other mags, making aftermarket parts more of an option. Also the intelliframe just makes it too cool.

I believe the RT Pro is vertical feed only. The RT (Original)can be left, right or vertical feed.

They also stop making the original RT. I have the original and love it.

The RT Pro isn't only vert feed, it comes in powerfeed also.

Are you sure? I've never seen a left or right powerfeed on a RT Pro. I thought they only came in vertical (center) feed. I could be wrong. If I was a betting man, I would bet on this one.

Your right. It's a good thing I didn't bet. Below is some info I found under the "News" section. However, I still have never seen a power feed on a RT Pro.

Good news! We are now shipping RT Pros! The MSRP for this outstanding new paintball gun is $750, and we offer it in two mainbody styles: vertical feed and power feed.

Thanks. It looks just like an original RT.
I thought there were more outside changes than that.

They stopped making RT's a long time ago now. Pro's can be considered version 2 of the RT. The only way to get a regular RT is to buy a used one or somehow find one that has been sitting on the shelves.

so how can you tell which is which??
my RT something, is black powerfedd to the left, valve says RT, grip says RT, it has a hard hose line on the left side.

ok, I must have the RT, since it has a gas through grip, and stuff...
so what is the difference really? More accessible valve? longer body?
that it?

Ya, is there any difference in performance?

No real change in preformance, I believe, unless you count a standard double-trigger as an improvement... preformance wise, that is. Other than that, basically the RTPro is just a bit smaller, and is now more interchangable than the previous RT's. Also, I keep hearing that AGD stopped making Minimags, and I couldn't find any in the 2001 Fall Catalog from 888paintball.com!!! What's going on?

Yes, they stop making Mini Mags. But, I heard that they started to make them again because of demand.

I really dont think the RT PRo is smaller, if you consider both guns need a barrel, the extra body length relly doesn't make the RT bigger, just looks different.

Personally I like the RT a little better (CUZ I OWN ONE!) cuz the porting is swell, and the gass through grip is neat, and the hard ss line keeps hoses out of the way.

Hey, are Intelliframe usable on an RT? I just want to make sure the work on both RT and RT Pro.
