Not to flame you or your friend, but why can't you guys just do some research and try the markers out before posting another "which gun?" thread? I mean, it doesn't take hours to get prices and features for each of those markers, and there's even a website set up so you can read reviews and opinions of various markers. www.pbreview.com

If he likes the mini orracle or the b2k4, then he should probably buy the mini orracle or the b2k4.

i would personally recomend any 2k2 series, i personally have an alias but those are $$, any of the 2k2 series (2k2, gz,z,tx storm, dragon) can be had from about 550-800ish. my alias is the best gun ive ever owned.

we play mostly woodsball so a timmy would be a bad choice sinjce they break easily and he wouldnt want to spend 700 on a gun that has a good chance of getting scratched

so can you please pick a gun off the list

If you play woodsball...I say get a cocker...but not a orricle...you could get something like a VF Tactical one...those are nice...and the internals and stuff are different from just stock VFs...plus they have the nice camo...perfect for the performance of high end guns...with the looks of a woodsballers gun :)

EDIT: I see you have one too...had he tried/seen yours? If not, let him...

ya he says he doesnt really like it but he love the mini orracle and b2k4 w/pds

but it would be better if he got the mini orracle since he wouldnt have to buy a fast hopper

B2k4...Cockers are a pain in the anus to maintain.

are you dense? the timmy being bad cuz it breaks alot? worried about scratching it? you mean he wouldnt care about the cocker getting scratched? or you think they are easy to repair if they go down? the timmy is cake compared to the cocker. the b2k4 opperates just like a timmy as well, so you would run into the same problems with it. not to mention that the b2k4 actually has a range of problems longer than the timmy

B2k4...Cockers are a pain in the anus to maintain.

Actually if you set them up properly, there's really nothing *to* maintain. A drop or two of oil before you start the day playing and you're done.

As far as Timmy's breaking a lot? I don't know about that, but I do know the last thing I want to do is disassemble half my gun just to get the poppet out so I can grease it after every case.
