Doesn't say if the prize is USD or CAD. I'm guessing CAD. At $90.00 USD per case, it seems like a pretty expensive event.

I hope there's a better vendor turnout than last year.

I wonder if we'll go to that, I'd love to play open division against guys like Dynasty... just to see how bad we get rolled... or to see if we can win and take the 100 grand :D

yea, skyball's the biggest cash prize event right now. I think it still is. Every pro team and then some is at it usually.

Which is a real drag as that's the only reason I go. There are still some deals to be had, but last year the biggest display was from two local stores. It'd be great to get a bigger trade show in there. Not holding my breath though.

Aside from last year, which had a low turnout.

Then again, with the lack of enforcement of rules that went on last year, bring on the sandbaggers and cheaters bigtime. If the players are expected to "police themselves" like last year, this event is already a failure.

It is a 5 man event, although I think last year they had a "young guns" division that popped up last minute, and could have been 3 man, I cannot remember.

skyball is brutally expensive. And always has been. Rookie entry was 900 last year, and paint was 90 a case. The thing i would be worried about is sandbagging, especaially since amature teams arnt gonna want to play open, since they would have little chance of winning. So they will play novice. And bad novice teams are gonna realize that, and play rookie. Which means a ton of sandbagging all the way through. And XO wont/cant do a thing about it.

Other than that, its a cool event. I think this year, since im lacking sponsorship, i might just go up and watch and chill.

we we won novice division last year(2003) it was a blast. ran well, cheating was at a minimum that i saw.

last year was a joke imo. extremely unorganized

and with 100g on the line in open class you can bet that people will be cheating in every way possible.

its funny that most prices are in american except the advertisment for 100grand
