Trying to get a confirmed BPS that owners have recorded out of there Tac Ones? I was looking to get a new marker that can be both a scenario marker and a tournament speedball marker that will keep up with Timmy's, DM's and etc if I choose to tourney with it. Do you think this marker is consistantly capable of rapid firing at electro speeds? Any honest feedback would be great.

Thanks

You can get more then 8-11 if ya know how to shoot the trigger, but the gun is generally as fast as you will be able to shoot it.

mech mag is not too fast, and if you try to get the "run away" with shims and ult you might get in trouble. i still do not know if a mag is legal in any tournament with a reactive trigger. some say yes and some say no. even teh ones that allow them i have seen them pulled (mech and emags) because of "bounce".
on a side note, is there an option for a emag tac one?

yep, its the custom made emag on the agd online store. You can also just slap a Tac-One body onto an emag

baked i agree

no way ult classic is hitting 16..unles it bouncing 16..even then its gotta be mad shootdown

anyways

only way your gonna keep up with timmys and dm4 is getting one of those(mags dont ramp)

mags are more than capable of standing up to any competetion out there today

Yea, the best blend of a scenario and tourny would be an e-tac. Just get a used emag ($600-700) and slap a tac-one on it ($200). If you can afford it though, I know I couldn't. If not, the tac-one is fine for both. My RT Custom allows me to compete plenty fine with other players on the field. Of course I'm a frontman so I don't spray and pray. If you do a lot of snapshooting, any ULT equipped mech mag is great.

keep in mind that the gun doesnt make the player. just because you dont have a 1200 dollar electro doesnt mean you cant keep up with an automag, it just means itll be harder.

Two letters and a number to solve your BPS, Price and Tourny Legality issues. B2K. Nuff Said. :headbang:

It would depend on the field if they would allow it. It is way slower than timmys and DMs, unless you set up the ULT trigger to bounce, but it can get you in trouble. I almost had the Emag DQ'd at the chrono the other day cause I was using mechanical mode (trigger bounce). I had to explain it's modes and show them. A big mess. They had a beef with it from the get go and found away to DQ the gun anyway. Oh well. I think the Tac-One would make a fine marker for a front or maybe a mid player tourney wise, but not a backman. When you set up the trigger and and learn to use it it can be pretty quick, but you may find a field that might get funny about it.
