Here is an old school pic for ya all! Notice the date, 1991 and we were using compressed air and barrel condoms. It took five more years until compressed air was a main stream idea and about 10 until condoms made more sense than plugs that shoot out.

From upper left, me, the late Ed Head original founder and captain of the Jacksonville Warriors and Jim Carl who was with Farside at that time. Lower left is Dennis Ashley who now runs Centerflag and Dean Brown the original inventor of the barrel condom.

A short history lesson on new ideas.

I was thinking more along the lines of Ghost Busters.

Hey, I got one of those bodies that Dennis has. Interesting, it's the only other one I ever saw besides The123's.

hey Tom, i hope you read this soon.

Seeing as you are the most approchable of the old timers and origionators i was woundering if you could write like a history of paintball type thing. It doesnt need to be deep, but maybe just a list of names of forgotten folks who built this community. People like Fred Schults (sp?) who i never knew of before you spoke about him.

I know (from your comments in the retirement thread) that the paintball community might not be seeing much of you anymore, and before you leave i was just hoping i would get to pick your brain more about these founders of our sport. Thanks Tom!

My thoughts EXACTLY!

I spotted that too!! I haven't used mine in a while, but it works pretty darn good. Would be a pain to clean if you chop a ball.. but who chops anymore?
