very carefully.

remove screws, dont loose them or the lid pin/ spring. one half of the shell will come off then, and you can clean it out. if you must remove other parts, be very careful so that you dont break any electronics

dont over tighten the screws when you put it together

Make sure you are in a well lit area with some good space. have a cup put you screws in while you take it apart. All in all it actaully quite easy. Just take your time. Once youve taken it apart it is completely de-mystified.

Man, I'm a pro at taking my halo apart, haha, I take it apart everytime I finish playing to clean off the shells and internals, usually take the cone off to clean off dirt and reassemble.

Maybe I'm special or something but Halo's are easy to take apart and put back together...(Empire-B's are easier!)

Be EXTRA carefule if you plan on taking the circuit board out. You MUST remove it and the back plate as one unit, or you will break the on/off switch off of the board. (not coverered by warranty, of course)

with a screw driver duh!!! ;)

the hardest part I think it getting the shells to come together in reassembly and have all the wires and everything in the right spot. Also, I was never sure how much to tighten the cone spring and screw.
