View Full Version : Pressure for a mag with X-valve and ULT?

What is the optimal pressure for a mag with the specs noted in the subject? I just gassed up my new Tac with ULT for the first time and it appears to be really "slow" firing with NO reactivity. My adjustable tank is set at 800psi. Any suggestions? I have a game in about 45 mins...

Thanks

Hi there,

try to adjust your pressure higer to a 1000PSI and add maybe 1-3 Shims in your ULT.
I have an preset Crossfire and all i did was adding Shims. If you have Level 10 Shims try these.
ULT Shims are 0.5 think, and Lvl 10 Shims are 1.0 think.

Try this.....

I use 800 psi on mine and it works great. Try adding another shim.

Okay - didn't find the sweet spot once all day today...I'll try adding more shims next weekend. Thanks for the input guys...

i would mess with the shims before you turn the pressure up ;) . my preset tank output is 750psi(the tank i used to set up the ult and lvl10), Its alot of fun to use my adjustable, or even my friends crossfire tank :D(850psi i think, major bounce) . So make sure you set it up at a lower presure if you want bounce. :headbang:

ive ran 1200 pis from a dyanflow with no problems through macro, just have to make sure its not dry rotted and doesnt have sun damage. if you want it for tourneys, do not put lots of shims in, and id say use maybe 900psi to start with, you want reactivity but not bounce for tourneys. thats why i went back to standard on/off in my rt, then was able to put the pressure to whatever i wanted.
