I'm werking on a project mag and I plan on using an old skool SS body. My problem comes in that I have a nasty habit of destroying those plastic elbows. There have been days I've gone through two of them and quite honestly the $3 adds up when your spending it almost everytime you play. Now onto my question, does anybody currently or has anyone in the past made or seen an aluminium elbow for a powerfeed? Is sit even possible to make such a beast? Or am I to resign myself to ordering cases of the disposible plastic ones? Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

What about a 90* warp adapter?

either one of the mentioned elbows above. or if you can find one one of the VLbows that viewloader used to make.

Those old VL elbows are indestructable. I don't see how anyone could possibly break one.

The hard plastic tightening ones suck. Get your hands on some old soft plastic / hard rubber whatever the hell they were VL elbows.

You can even make them tightening by dremeling some slots in them and using pipe clamps. Then not only are they tightening, but they are still indestructable.

Atomic Elbows... I've got one... They definitely don't look like they'd break, and they're guaranteed.

most of the adjustables includeing vlbows were pretty easy to break if you can find a none adjustable elbow that fits i rareley see them break even on our rentals!!

I have an old purple VLbow that I've had since 1998. That thing has been through hell and back. It hasn't been used in years but that is the last elbow I ever bought. When I got back into paintball after a 2 year break, it was all about vert feeds.

I didn't know you could still get those. I have an old one and it is great. The hard plastic ones below it suck.

Also, a visit to the plumbing supply section and a little paint that'll stick to copper and you're all set. :D

Yes, I was talking about the PPS Feed Yoke.

Nothing stronger than metal:)

But yes, you could probably make a copper elbow fit too.

Somebody on AO was selling black painted copper elbows with clamping screws I think.

Bad Dog used to make them. They are warp feed adaptors though, I don't think that a hopper would fit in the hose end.
