Well, I was inspecting the bolt bumper and the way the valve and bolt have a little play in them(move up and down and whatnot. Why not make a bolt bumper thats 1/32 less than the diameter of the body and stiffer than it is now. This way there is no slop, straighter bolt path and the bolt hits the ball with a bigger footprint causing less dimpling and breakage. There would also be less friction on the body causing less inconsistancy. I do understand that the vavle gets tightened down from the thumbscrew in the rear but where it is threaded in is right where it gets thick again. I dunno, may be a dumb idea now that I think of it.
