I try to bring in our christmas tree today so we can decorate it and stuff. I go outside and my dog was laying next to my tree. I go no big deal, walk over to pick it up and she growls at me, I became . So I know better then to try and take something from my siberian husky, so I go inside and 5 min later I look out the window and she is laying on top of the tree. But me being stupid didnt get a picture of that, but I did grab a pic of here guarding her tree...

Did you piss on it before your dog got a chance to? That has a tendancy of really irking them.

Your dogs fat.

Actually if she looses 3 more pounds, she is at the right weight for a siberian. She was really fat a few months ago, she lost 18 pounds.

If you dog is fat, feed it green beans, it works wonders for fat dogs.

As annoying as this may sound.. If you really have trouble getting the tree away, simply collar your dog to the nearest 'stuck' place, then grab the tree and run. We had the same problem with our neighbours dog at one point.

I wish I had a dog, but instead I'm stuck with this cat that showed up like a year and a half ago. I still love her though.

As for your tree problem, just grab the tree and walk off. If she bites you, kick her in the face or something.

I hate cats.

I could never kick my husky in the face, it has been through to much with me. But my beagle, I could kick in the face in a second, I hate that thing. It bites my shoe when I am sitting on the couch, it jumps on the table in my family room when im eating fast food and steals fries, whenever I go anywhere with my mom, it goes to and gets to ride in the front I have to sit in the back of the car. I hate that thing.

When I have to go somewhere with my mom, the beagle can come with us, then yeah I do get owned. Otherwise If I have to take it somewhere AKA the vets, it sits in the truck of our car.

OK if you want some dog treats that are cheap try the "Pup-corn". I got a 2 lb bag at PetSmart the other day for like 13 bucks. It's a huge bag of dog-cheetos that my dogs will like kill for. Throw em some of those and be done with it.

Oh yeah, and Slipknot got beagle-owned.

You should get a tree from Pet Smart for your dog, it sounds lonely.

Do like live in Kansas where there aren't any trees?

I live in South Florida. I used to live in NY and my husky spent 5 years in NY before we moved down here. She was surround with trees and everything. We had a giant pine tree in our yard she was always next to. I guess she is remembering what a pine tree smells like, because she hasent smelled one in over 5 years. We always use a fake tree for christmas, but this year we got a new one.

I agree. I love dogs, but they have to know who's boss. It's dangerous to own a dog, especially a big one, that you can't dominate. You should be able to tell her to sit down, shut up and then just take the tree.

I am not afraid of her, I just dont like to take things that she is enjoying, obviosly she was digging my xmas tree. She knows all the basic commands, like sit, say, down, come here. After seeing my dog chew up 2 poodles because they charged her, she can do some decent damage to a human. Although she has never bit me or any member of my family, she has been known to growl and show her teeth and stuff to people she dosent know or dosent like(AKA all my brothers friends) She is the best dog I have ever had, wouldnt trade her for anything.

BTW - I did manage to get the tree in with the help of a can of green beans.

lol!

Is your dog spayed? If not, introduce an unneutered male dog, while they are preoccuppied with doggy love, grab the tree and run.

That may solve your xmas tree problem, but expect another problem to come up in several months time.
