Just make sure the tank (is any) is drained, and the box is sealed. Identify the contents as sporting goods, and take it to a Kinko's or some other FedEx location. You should be fine. Just don't call it a gun. There shouldn't be too many problem shipping it.

UPS shouldn't know that its a gun unless you tell them, try USPS priority mail. I swear by it for 2 reasons...1)cheaper than UPS...2)they deliver on saturdays.

Yeah, I've been shipping markers all over North America since Sept. 11 and have been using UPS and Fed Ex with no problems at all, and that includes crossing international borders. And, of course, list the contents as "Sporting Goods" and if they make you itemize all contents say "Paintball Marker" not Paintball Gun"...

Hope this helps.

I just recieved a minimag through USPS from hawaii. The tank wasn't even empty(nitro). Since its sitting here I guess nothing went wrong. Yeah just make sure the tank is fully emptied, god forbid it blows up and someone notices it.

I gues I would be in a lil bit of trouble if my Nitro tank blew up sending an airplane tumbling to the groundm:/

You can call it a paintball marker, and you will have no problems.

Well guys I got my tank and stuff the other day with no problems. But that's a tank not a gun.

What exactly did the UPS guy say to you?

Mike

I haven't tried saying it was a marker, going to try and say that tomoorrow...we just called up there and asked them some questions, but tomorrow we actually go up there!

Just chuck it in a box and mail it. No questions asked.

I agree, if you box it up there's no reason for them to ask about it. Unless you're shipping internationally, which is always a royal pain...

It's only a pain unless you're just shipping a mask, tank, valve, or other parts/accessories.

FedEx and UPS will ship and receive just about anything. US Postal Services will not ship anything that resembles a firearm (including paintball markers). However they will ship markers if you are a registered distributor.

Wrap your package with brown paper and send it off...no questions asked

I agree with tooslow - I have yet to have anything turned around at the border.. I ship UPS (yuck) FedEx, and USPS and have yet to have a problem

Just make sure you never call it a GUN.. It is a MARKER

or better yet - label it (as it's been said) Sporting Goods or even Paintball SUPPLIES..

That's it

No worries :D

thats funny. i just sent a gun and a tank to smart parts via ups. even boxed it all up in front of the lady. all she cared about was having at least 2 inches of padding around the products.

One time I received a post card from UPS in the mail saying that they couldn't deliver a package because the address was wrong.
I don't think it gets anymore dumb than that.

I say UPS sucks because they didn't come today (Saturday) or yesterday with my mag. Now this could very easily be the fault of the person sending it, but I say blame it on UPS, because now I have to wait another 48 hours before I get it!

I watched them just drive by my house, without even looking!

Those funny shorts wearin bastards!

UPS doesn't deliver on saturdays unless you pay extra.
