i got this from a very good trader about 7/8 weeks ago, the feed neck came broken (i was told ahead of time), and it also came with a left feed body too. there was a problem, i have a scenariogame in 2 days after it arived, and only a broken vert neck. so i went down to home depot to see what i could do. i eventually found the perfect piece of copper... lol

Interesting to say the least ;).

i used cold weld to keep it on, and it is like a rock.

i did polish it smooth with my dremel, and the balls glide on down.

i sanded my new halo PERFECT to fit this thing.

I don't often comment on pics of a "Look at this" type of thing but this is an exception. That is awesome...good find. That has now got me thinking as the original Phantoms used plumbing fittings for the elbow so perhaps it it is time for a resurgence of copper.

I've done it before, with powerfeeds and 45* elbows. I have a piece just like that one in my warp too instead of the plastic one.

while i was looking around at home depot, i notice some right sized elbows that could save some $$ rather than buying plastic one. plus these are less than $1.

your right, a whole copper e-mag would look good! but for now it will just be called the Copper Top.

A complete copper body with a high polish would look nice. Hmmmm, sounds like a project.

PMI used to make thier guns copper. My PMI 1 was the most accurate thing inm pb I've ever shot. No porting, just an integral copper barrel.
Very cool feedtube BTW.

That's ok I can take nothing ;) If I hadn't posted that info someone else would have. My post was meant more in the line of "No because..." and this how rumours start....not far in the future some person will post "I read that PMI made a copper barrelled marker" we can all be mistaken, I just got to your post before another did that's all. No harm done.

I realized as soon as I read your reply that I made a mistake. If this was PBNation, I would've been flamed away by now! I love AO.........
