This started out innocently enough, I was surfing ebay and ran across a stock 2k3 cocker body with all the internals, asa, front & back blocks for like $50. I looked at my pile of leftover cocker parts and thought with that stuff, I could put together another gun. Well cool, I bid on it but lost at the last minute :( but it went for around $135 anyway, but it got me thinking that all I needed was a body, asa, and springs, so I started looking for that and found this body:

Brand new with matching backblock and anno'ed for $50 shipped. Cool I thought, then I began to think that this body was too cool to waste on stock cocker parts, so I decided to transfer my e-blade over and make the old body back into a stocker. Then I decided that now would be the time to add an upgrade or two to the e-blade, and it was all downhill from there ;) .

Parts scrounged from original e-blade marker:
e-blade (duh :tard: ), actually the worr-blade kit
shocktech frontblock, ram, and fgp reg
kapp beavertail and twisted cocking rod
aa vigilante reg

New parts:
body and backblock from ebay seller dadansonforfun (they added the e-blade holes for another $10)
ccm angel no-rise
15 degree asa

New parts ordered but not here yet:
jackal high speed hammer kit
jackal "savage" valve
jackal str8 line pump arm
eclipse q.e.v.'s
eclipse mini-gauge
eclipse eye kit (broke the old one removing it from the old body :( )
eclipse on/off and rail drop

So I put together what I have and mocked up the rest to see what it will look like. Here it is:

Looks like fun :) (fun can be interpreted as $$$$$$ if you want)

For cosmetic purposes I think I'd go with a different drop.

Thanks. I plan on making a pull pin from either delrin or aluminum when I get back to work next week, to further lighten the reciprocating mass.

EDIT: 590, you will have to post pics when you get it done.

Keep updating this thread. My 2k3 stocker is totally stock currently, just used as a backup marker. But damn...Ive been looking for things to do with it as a 'fun' project and the whole e-blade thing might qualify.

Its pretty amazing what you can find cocker parts for if you are patient.

I built a Freeflow cocker for under $300....

Thread starter: Nice. Only thing I don't like is the wire detents, other than that, way nice.

Thanks teuf, as for the wire detent, I thought I would try it, CCM and Freeflow both use them, so they can't be all bad. Plus I have a buttload of wire AGD detents left over to use if I ever need a replacement

590, get some bigger/better pics when you get a chance, it looks good and I would like to see some better shots of it. I'm diggin' the black on black look.

Here are some better shots of the body and backblock.

Dude, I feel your pain. My family bought a rabbit back in July and it destroyed a bunch of important wires for things. It didn't destroy anything we didn't use, just wires used for things on a daily basis like our cord to the laptop charger, my step-daughter's game boy SP charger wire, multiple cell phone charger cords, and the power plug for the PS2. Luckily the last one wasn't plugged in. As for the wire detents, I have always had less problems with them. They are easier to adjust and are cheaper to replace. I seem to always run into weird problems with ball detents. Sorry for jacking this thread with the bunny stuff.

that is one hot cocker bogger..... if i ever go back... i'm gunna do the same thing in building a throw together eblade..... i love taht really simple home-spun look of that body... its so clean and matches the rough art nuveux-industrial look of the rest of the marker... accentuated by the gritty utilitarian elegance of the modernist e-blade handle, the marker is art not to be trifffled with.

or something like that....

aggg gat bra!!! no really, thats a nice piece.

I've been toying with the idea of taking my old right feed 99 freeflow cocker and slappin an eblade on it, gettin a sweet anno, new front block from freeflow and other stuff. I feel that my problem would be the bolt tho. Do they even make pre 2k derlin or nylatron bolts?
*edit* I just thought, it would be really sick to keep it mech. I have herd about the super mech stuff but really havent read anything about it, i havent looked in the fourms alot latley. Does anybody know if there is such a thing for a cocker, or its it just not possible because of the 3way?

I haven't seen one, but if I remember correctly, you can use a 2k+ bolt as long as you have a 2k+ back block.

I got back into cockers this fall, too. Picked up a used eblade with eyes and took off everything but the front block and valve. I added a Microrock, Freeflow SMC (still need to install the QEVs), KAPP back block, and a WGP bolt. Last thing I want is a Tornado valve, but I refuse to pay anything close to retail for one and a little work with the springing will suffice while I search.
