Never in my experience, running at 1200 psi...

Anything is "possible", but I've never seen nor heard it happen...

its like macro line, the harder pressure is put against it the harder it holds

What do quick disconnects look like? I do not think I have seen them before, and where can I get them? Sorry to change the subject but I do not know.

Quick disconnects are a common type of gas fitting used for many things. It uses a nipple and another piece that clicks onto it. It makes it much easier to take things apart, such as if you wanted to take your valve out or take off you're adjustable tank. Instead of having to unscrew the hose, all you do is pop off you're qd, then pop it back on. Very handy.

That didn't make a lick of sense.

it will hold ever notice what you use to fill with and thats 4500 psi so i think this should handle less than 1200! just make sure it is really on there as the slide is fully foward!

THe quick disconnects are real strong. I never had one pop off on me in all of the years I've been playing. Just make sure the slide is locked in place.

I think macrolines can only hold a certain amount of pressure like 2000psi, but the quick disconnects are way stronger.

If it isn't an AGD Mil Spec QD it probably isnt worth a damn. :D

That's what I was thinking. If you can use it to fill 3000-5000psi tanks you'll be all set with the pressure coming out of the tank.

Now that was just stupid.

And that's just plain wrong.

Each and every fitting and type has a working pressure rating. Brass elbows can be rated from as low as 200psi to above 10000psi.

The only way to know a fitting or air system is safe is to know where all the parts came from, who made them, and what the specifications are.

AGD does have some great QD's. I use them.

Yep same here... The QD used to be an option when you purchased the RT-PRO... It came with my gun...

I am going to use one of the QD for my RT-ULE and then a Staublie QD with Shut-off...

I looked at the MFG of the AGD QD and they make all sorts of stuff... I doubt the product was strictly made of AGD... but it works...

If the female side of the QD only has 4 balls, I would not trust it. If it has 6 balls, I would. I only use Parker QD's and have never had a problem.
