I went paintballing the other day, and i was asking someone with a mag some stuff because after all i am getting my mag for christmas, he was running a remote and nitro...my question is will a regular co2 remote work for mags or am i gonna have to get a a special "nitro" remote, i was just wondering since i think im gonna run a remote on my mag, NOT sure though, might get a PMI perfect cradle instead.

A remote is a remote is a remote. :)

Of course, a TV remote won't help your Mag any. ;)

I phrased that one wrong...will a regular CO2 remote work for a nitrogen tank...not a mag, so will my co2 remote work on a nitro tank or not?

Yep...same threading on N2 and CO2 tanks.

Just as a clarification, a preset nitro tank uses the same screw-in threads as a CO2 tank pin valve, so a remote will work for either. The tank adapter will take either type of tank. An adjustable nitro generally requires a cradle so running remote is not a viable option.

A remote is a good investment when running CO2, just make sure you get one rated for at least 3000psi, since CO2 on a warm day can reach 1000+psi. Stay away from skinny hoses!

I use the ACI high pressure slinky (http://www.airconcepts.com/MainFrame/Frames.html) on my Minimag. I feel a lot more safe with it, rather than the "microline" sized types. I also use a 4 stage expando with my Co2:cool:
